Ah well here I am with the flu. I can't do anything fun so I thought I'd try a round robin story. Here are the rules:

1. No more than 12 words and no less than 5.
2. Try to be realistic-ish (Well as realistic as possible with warped imaginations such as we possess.) Don't have something just totally impossible happen. Improbable is ok though.
