This is sort of a varation of an old RP that RaiRai did back at TWC and Avariel and well, I figured why not bring it back for a rebirth? Anyway, Rai has equal say into what goes into this, so if you see something I type change, it's her, most likely. Anyway, here it is.


It is the future. Technology has gotten involved in every aspect of life, including reaching the point where it wasn't uncommon to see cyborgs that were more machine then flesh. Unfortunally war broke out, and the destruction was catrostrophic enough that some groups left the earth to make their homes in space. One small space station was created by a group that called themselves "10" however, on the moon of Phobos, a new, more serious threat started to appear. Strange, hostile mechs have appeared, and while so far it's been nothing more then probes, an attack is being expected.

Will the 10 survive? It is only up to them.



As you more then likely guessed, there are ten slots open...well, actually eight, Rai's already called one, plus my character.

Just a quick question, what kind of mechs are these going to be? Like Gundams, Evangelions, or Mechs? Those are the three I hear of most, but then again I also won't be surprised if it's something entirely different too.

If there's only 10 spots, I reserve one of those right now. I need to get back into roleplaying here, and this looks to be just the thing to get me back in.

I was sitting here, thinking to myself, "Self, I need to find a high-tech RP to get involved in so that my procrastination is at a normal level." Then this appeared, like manna from heaven!

Character Concept, first draft-
Name: Mars
Age: 17
Background: Always a softspoken young man, he never gets in arguments with anyone, but is often too distant to get along with anyone either. However, as a mechanic and engineer he is invaluable, and his ability to operate machines is unmatched despite the social skills he lacks.
Mars comes from a family of engineers, many of which have worked on and created many weapons. In an attempt to step away from this legacy, he took his chance with a group of people that had no such plans of destruction. That is how he came to be with this group of people.

mind if I join? I've been looking for an rp to be a player in, being a GM is a whole other ball game. I need to just let loose and blow somethingup, artfully.

Sounds liek Battle Angel Alita + Zone of the Enders. Me like.
