469: Fire Hazard
 

Not much fun going on in this comic, mainly to advance the plot I suppose. Oh well, transition episode.

I thought it was pretty funny. Red Mage's little "aw" at having his plan foiled once again, and fighter informing Kary of the fire hazard were both very amusing moments. I really liked some of the lines, too:

:thief: Just use your ancient Elven stealth technique you honed to perfection during your years of wandering the countryside as a rogue.

:rmage: Its so stupid it has to work!

And the scene where they pop out of the bag was pretty good too: With White Mage's traditional 'I can't believe I'm associated with these people' pose, Black Mage's "Dammit, Thief!", and Red Mage doing his 'Excelsior' pose, as though he's just gotten the drop on Kary. Classic stuff.

It . . . it can't be . . . .

The two best armoured characters . . . they're in the FRONT!!!!! :D

LMAO, yeah, there is a first time for everything, eh?


Well, I must say, this episode has generated one of my favorite Fighter quotes! See, if he would just keep his mouth shut, no one would know how stupid he is!!!

But what fun would that be?

I wonder what mad hijynks Thief's going to to do now.

Remember that Fighter still has the heat armor so technically he can walk right through the circle of fire.

Except the armor doesn't cover his face or hands.

There is nothing more important, in the heat of battle, than to reach out and smack one of your allies. Great episode.

So it looks as though we will be seeing Fighter going up against Kary's six sword-technique.

It was pretty funny actualy.. and ads some suspense... an "Now What?" Climax

Number of times Thief had hid when encountering a Fiend: 2

I see a pattern forming here...

Fighter says good stuff!
