Matrix Online MMORPG

Ok, so it's midnight. I'm bored. I didn't get to play texas holdem. What am i gonna do? I check my e-mail, and kapoweey... i'm accepted as a beta tester for Matrix Online.

Well, I'm in the process of downloading the game right now, and I will ultimately be 'forbidden' from sharing photos or information concerning the gme during my beta testing phase... however I can assure all of you...

From what I have seen so far, this game stands to be the coolest mmorpg of them all. forget about ragnarok, final fantasy online, phantasy star online, all of it. Trash. Matrix Online is going to blow them all out of the water.

I wish I could be more specific.

The game comes out mid January, and I can guarantee you that I'm going to be buying a copy of it, and I haven't even played the damn game yet... just read everything the beta website has to say about it.

Any other beta testers out there in nuklear power world? If so, get in touch with me, i wanna set up a team during wednesday's beta testing time schedule.

I've definitely warmed up to the whole MMO thing, but there's no way I could ever be bothered to spend money on anything related to the Matrix that isn't the first movie.

I'd be more enthusiastic if Enter The Matrix hadn't dashed my hopes for a good Matrix game. Hopefully, they do this one right.

Oh they definitely have. It's totally rpg based with disciplines, attributes and levels. THe graphics are really cool, there's over 250 missions, and it takes place entirely in the matrix itself. Forget the movies, think of it as a super huge universe, where you can do virtually anythign you want.

it rocks.

Does anyone else think that the a MMORPG based on the Matrix is an inherently creepy concept?

Only if it comes with a do-it-yourself matrix jack kit.

The game looks pretty cool, probably enough so to make me dump my SWG account. Congrats LordZoma for getting accepted :D.

I'm thinking of buynig it. It sure does sound good, and from what I've seen in the local game TV program it sure looks good too.

I heard that every building in the big city it takes place in is accessable. I'm definitely buying it when it comes out.

I'd like to try the open beta. Chances are I won't be able to though, and it's even more unlikely that I'll buy the game.

I'll make it so my focus levels are at constant zero and everything will seem sideways. From the walls.
But yes, Enter the Matrix also left a bad taste in my mouth.
