8-bit Theatre Presidential Primaries: The Opposing Party!!!

After taking new hampshire, it appears as if Clevinger Sosa is currently the leading pick... now the light warriors have to face primaries of their own.

After the polls are in and a clear winner is determined, debates will no doubt ensue.

The Black Mage/Fighter tag team will no doubt crush the opposition due to popularity and nothing more. Hey, it worked for the Governator.

While I believe BM/Fighter would be the superior candidates we have to look at who can best win the primaries that being Thief/RM. With their skill at altering things (like votes) I believe only they can be the true winners and thus choose not to waste my vote on BM/Fighter lest it be forged....

RMS Oceanic 10-13-2004 03:41 AM

Interesting choice. While Thief could steal votes, forge them, place them back, and RM could cast 'Bush's Hanging Chad' to give himself +1 in election situations(from a guest comic a while ago), Black Mage could blow up any opposition.

:bmage:: It ain't a two horse race if the first horse disintegrates. That's my motto.
:fighter:: I thought your motto was 'Shut up, Fighter'. You use it a lot.

On the other hand, what if Brian pulls a Dave 'I like Ice Cream, Time Travel and spoons' Anez and strips whoever runs against him of any abilities that poses a threat to him?

As much as I would prefer the BM/Fighter ticket to win, given my own propensity for perpetuating evil, I have to give my vote to the Thief/RM team. A combination of vote forging and +1 to electability makes me think they'd be better suited to take on the Clevinger/Sosa team.

Thief is less likely to blow things up. litterrally. RM should be relocated to Secretary of the Treasury since arithmancy and twinkery require similar mindsets.

Who's running with Garland for the 3rd party vote?

Sky Warrior Bob

King Steve/Garland, of course! They've got MY vote!

Garland/Drizz'l

First of all, why in the nine hells would BM ever team up with fighter when there is no obvious need for a meat shield? As a bodyguard? Maybe. But only then because he serves as the meat shield, he'd likely open BM to even more dangerous or numerous threats. Probably both.

Now that I've made the obvious point I vote for :bmage: & :fighter: because they've already got more advertising.

Whoa, whoa people. Why on earth would Garland be in this race? Bikke/Drizz'l is the obvious third party canidate. After all, the only reason Bikke didn't kill Garland outright is because he let him join the Dark Warriors. Why would he want to run with Garland? Also Drizz'l is obviously more intelligent than either of the other Dark Warriors so why wouldn't he pair with the ferocious grass-roots guy that Bikke is? Its a killer combo! Librals go with Drizz'l and the blue collar people go with Bikke. Garland is just a fool. The other two are coniving.
