Battle of Great Climb: Siege Of Kyuden Agasha, day 3

The torrential rains continued. Raiden walked the battlements with Taken, Kuyuden, and Kenren. The Lion troops had set up Battle lines and were staying out of range of the archers. Certain troops would step in range and hurl insults at the dragon troops

"Save your arrows." Raiden shouted as a brash soldier began to knock an arrow.

Raiden wore no back banner today.

"Taken, Kenren I leave this watch in your command." Raiden said. He returned to the center of the city to meet with Togashi Ayoko.

Tsanuri awoke and looked around, she realized she was captured, but her captors had not bound her. That was their first mistake... their last mistake. She would wait, wait for the right time to strike.

Ogami had given his morning orders and sat down to a simple breakfast of rice and water. The Dragon's moved carefully around the valley. They were moving to secure the higher ground and grind the lion's against the walls.

Katsu hadn't left the room since last night, and was found sitting in the corner, meditating on the previous day's events. It brought him peace of mind and body. He could feel the lights rays beat on his skin, urging him to stand up and soak in the new day.

Accepting the offer of the sun, he lengthened out his legs first and stretched his back, reaching all the way past his toes. Pulsing three times, he uprighted himself, and removed his body from the floor, pressing his bare feet on the ground. He looked at the patient on the bed still, her eyes still shut. Hm... she seems to still be resting. It might be best to let her do so. He removed the blanket from her body to inspect the wounds to her chest and stomach. Blood had reappeared on the cloth strips and he was tempted to remove them, but they were not causing any harm. He would wait another hour or two, them procede with the changes.

He went for the door when he could swear he felt something, heard something. Turning his head cautiously towards the downed lion, he asked softly, "Are you awake?"

Tsanuri continued to pretend to be asleep. When will this pathetic monk move on

"Armor of the Loyal Son..." Dai was thinking about his new armor again, mumbling the name. He was amazed that he had actually found it in real life, not just inside his head. It was disappointed, however, that he would be inactive for a while, thanks to his wounds, but was more disappointed that he would have to leave this great armor just sitting around. He sat there, thinking about when he would get out of here and back into action.

The kitsu shugenja cleansed the wound with their magic.

"Are you going back into battle Dai-san?"

lazy man 10-14-2004 07:54 PM

"Yes, I can't just sit here. I want to go out into the battle, they need all the help they can get," he said, bowing to the shugenja as he left. He could still feel his body aching and intending for him to rest for a while, but he refused to stay put. He needed to help his fellow lions.

When he reached his tent, he quickly went over to his armor and started putting it on. It felt comfortable, like it was custom made to fit him. When the suit was firmly secured to him, he grabbed his yari and was off.

The blank mon on the back glowed and changed to Dai's family mon.

Raiden entered the house of healing and went to Togashi Katsu. "Is she awake yet?"

MC43 10-14-2004 08:16 PM

Katsu turned his sights to Raiden. "I'm not sure. I thought I heard a noise or something, but she still seems to be sleeping." His sights turned back to the fallen warrior, "I shall continue to watch over her for the remainder of the day. It wouldn't be wise to just leave her here unwatched, and I know how busy you must be. Just leave everything to me. I shall take care of everything Raiden-dono. If not, I shall have a monk go and get you."

Like lightning, Tsanuri stood and grabbed Katsu putting him in a head lock. Raiden drew his katana

"Drop your sword, or I kill the monk"

MC43 10-15-2004 09:51 PM

At first, Katsu's heart paused its beating, but soon the fighter in him took over. The monk gripped her arm and pushed his body foward, (tn 30, 18+16+6=40 success!) flipping her up over his back and onto her feet. (tn 25 to avoid damage, success!)

The now fighter monk put his arms up in a defensive stance, "You not only have him to fear. Please relax, I have healed you from the brink of death, and I wish not to do so again unless I have to. If you remain on your feet and moving like this, you will hurt yourself again, and I may not be able to save you this time around."
