Dai sighed as he looked at the last corpse he could find. He was right in the beginning of his search that this was pontless, but he had done it anyway, just in case. He hefted his yari and made his way toward what he thought was the labyrinth, but he was gravely mistaken. He had apparently been working his toward the exit. With voices being very nearby, the Akodo knew what he had just encountered, and what he had to do as well.

With a loud yell, Dai pounced the dragons and speared one in the gut, kicking the man's body onto the ground and freeing his weapon from the man's entrails. With a quick swipe, he hit another in the throat with a lucky shot, the dragon collapsing to the ground as he bled to death. With another dragon still able to fight, Dai impaled this dragon's chest and quickly kicked off the body, assuming a fighting stance as more came at the sounds of the commotion.

Raiden groaned as he stood his shoulder trobbing. He got his bearings together enough to dodge a Lion spear. Raiden took another of the blessed arrows from his quiver and mounted the wall. He leaned over the edge again looking down the cliff face. He found the lion spearmen who had thrown the spear at him, but as he drew back his bow the Akodo by his mon fell down dead. His body cleaved in two at the chest by an invisible swords men. Raiden was stunned but shook the thought from his mind and found a new target. He fired and his arrow arced in it's journey finding the throat of the standard bearer.

Dai stumbled back as he was hit full force in the ribs by a dragon swordsman. He hadn't felt a thing, but the force knocked him back. With a yell, he recovered and jumped at his attacker, throttling him with ease. Shoving the body off his yari, he got ready for the next in line to attack him.

"How many ladders do they have?" Raiden asked as he ducked behind the wall. spears and arrows clattered around him.

"112 by the last count." A gunso answered.

"We need liquid fire." Raiden said. "Send a runner to Agasha Yama, requesting 140 large saki bottles filled with liquid fire. We need them here as soon as he can get them."

Dai yanked his yari out of yet another dragon and immediately went after two dragons who were approaching him. When he dodged one of the two's blows and skewered him, the other took an oppurtunity try and slash into his head, the only result being his sword bouncing off oof Dai's helmet. While being slightly dazed, he still managed to turn around fast enough to catch his opponent in the chest before he could attack him again.

With a bit of a break before he would be encountering more dragon soldiers, Dai stoppted to catch his breath. He knew he would collapse in exhaustion eventually, but he wouldn't give up until then. When another group began to get closer to him, he took an offensive stance yet again.

Kuyuden sat in the house of healing as his mother used her magic to clean and treat the deep arrow wound to his arm

"I'm fine father." Kuyuden said.

"I was worried Kuyuden. I don't know what would happen if I lost you or your mother."

Katsu ran about wildly trying his best to heal the newest soldiers. They seem to be pouring in as fast as he was healing. There was just too many of the men falling that Katsu was getting overwhelmed. Usually he could handle this, but there was just too many coming in. As soon as one came in, another two were pleadig for some help, but the monk left his spirits up, as high as he could anyway. It was obvious that a lack of sleep was getting to him as a slight hint of agitation came into play when something went wrong. Something as simple as not getting the wraps when he wanted them set him off.

"Help! I need help!!"

Katsu looked over and saw the Dragon with his arm falling off. He rushed over and did his best to reset it and tape it. This is bad...

(OOC: No need to apologize for missing the forums for that. It sucks losing a family member, for lack of better terminology. I would say something about it here, but I know that a lot of the time, people just don't want to talk about stuff like that.)

"Get back."

Taken finally stepped forward himself. His voice was calm, but internally, he was anything but. His mind was beginning to break from all this violence, and those few moments where the lion had slaughtered so many of his men, did not make it easier. He had to stop Akodo Dai, however, before more dragons were killed.

"...I apologize for what I must do, but I can not allow you to continue striking down my men for your leader's wounded pride," Taken stated as he rested his hand on the hilt of his katana, circling the man in an iaijitsu stance, and waiting for the perfect strike to present itself.

Dai stared at Taken. He knew he remembered the man from somewhere, and he did. He had put a hole in his left hand before the Siege, something he had completely forgotten about. It didn't anger him, but deep down it scared him because he remembered how great a samurai Taken was.

"I accept this challenge," Dai said dryly. Planting his yari in the ground, he then put his hand on his sword, taking a deep breath through his nose and exhaling through his mouth. He was worried that he hadn't practicd with his sword enough, but he put it the back of his mind. This was either going to be a problem or it wasn't, so he had to ignore it before it affected him in this duel.
