Anime Download Requests

I have noticed alot of people wanting to know places to download anime. So rather then fill up the forum just post the anime you are looking for and others will tell you where to find them.

Inuyasha is something I have had Problems with finding.

First off, I would like to say that no one should post any links in this thread. When someone asks for an anime, PM them the BT link, your file share suggestions or the IRC channel.

MNMinion, I can help you. When I get to school I'll send you a PM. That'll be in about an hour.

well I have no problem with not posting links but I must ask why?

You can link anything non-licensed. Non-licensed anime is legal to download (from what I've been told), as well as anime which is licensed only in japan. But if it is licensed outside of japan then you can't link it as it would be considered along the same lines as warez and roms. Theft and all that.

How do you know if it's licensed or not?

synkr0nized 10-14-2004 12:03 PM

Generally by keeping up with the major licensing companies' acquisitions. Read their news, or find anime news resources.

You may also find a margin of help from the fansubbers directly, as some will discontinue distribution after licensing. Take, for example, the small group handling the Tenchi Muyo! OVA 3 episodes -- it's nowhere near done, but licensing plans have already been announced, so don't count on finding it anywhere.

As far as legality goes, I'm not even sure "they" have reached a decision concerning fansubbing being legal in any sense.

I usually use anime suki to find out whether or not an anime is licensed.

I got the last 60 some episodes fansubbed off of Kazaa LIte++ (becuase my bit torrent client stopped working), if a something is popular enough you should be able to k-lite it.

PS Do NOT use regular kazaa, it is a seething mass of spyware.

No kidding. My friend used Kazaa and his computer got so much soyware it started lagging down because of it. He had that much. We eventually had to reformat it.

*Ahem* In an attempt to stay on topic, does anyone know where I can find some Inuyasha or Gundam Seed stuff?
