Arhra 10-17-2004 04:02 AM

OOC: Did I miscount or do we have exactly 9 people on this little quest?

Arhra answers Thamaturge sounding a little surprised by the question, "Of course I can contorl them. What would the point be otherwise? Chaos calls to chaos." Then he points at the wyvern with a hand and his chaos steed takes to the air, many wings flapping wildly but still moving with a surprising agility. Arhra, calmly standing upon its back, calls upon his magic and hurls a bolt of multicoloured flame that corrupts anything it touches.

Thaumaturge 10-17-2004 10:11 AM

Thaumaturge nodded at Arhra's response; he had been incertain as to whether a creature of Chaos was controllable at all. He turned to the Navy Blue Rider. His spiders would be of little use here, but he could still be of assistance... He began to casta spell, evoking shards of silver, then imbueing each with magical energy similar to a magic missile. That done, he gathered the enchanted shards together to float lightly above one hand, binding it there for now. Then casted a shield spell, and finally a flight spell, soaring towards the Rider. As he neared it, he released the binding on the ball of shards, sending them hurtling, shotgun-style, towards the fell beast, then turned tightly to veer away from the Rider.

Faster than light, the orc with it's sword raised soon found 14 fresh cuts across it's belly. It cluched at it's stomach and fell to the ground, very still. TD looked up towards the black rider, only to find it summoning orcs to his side. TD ran forwards, into the host or orcs and burst into action against the orcs, faster than the speed of light. The dark rider laughed and continued to summon orcs through his black portal. He realized TD would soon tire.
TD jumped back and put his wrists together, and chanted quickly. A bright line burst from his hands and he screamed "Thunder-doken!"
The field was quickly cleared of most of the orcs, while the rest squeeled like pigs and ran off. TD panted heavily, as the rider dismounted it's dragon and approached him.
"This is the part where you die!" the dark rider laughed.

Jadarendir 10-17-2004 09:03 PM

The black rider raised a black titanium mace, and in its other hand a staff. Not any staff, however. This was Jadarendir's staff. Behind the shadow mask of the black rider, Jadarendir's familiar voice echoed, a sorrowful, apologetic voice.

"It isn't me doing this, old friend," he pleaded. "It wasn't me."

Dragonsbane 10-17-2004 09:19 PM

Dragonsbane had unleashed a Hadoken into the orc hordes, blasting a few square miles of them into oblivion, when he heard a familiar voice, "Holy crap...Jada? What did they DO to you?!"

The normally calm archmage seemed utterly aghast at hearing the voice of a fellow Calvinballer from behind the mask of the black rider.

Toastburner B 10-18-2004 09:17 AM

TD's orcs gave Toastburner enough time to put his LKBs into formation. The front line had their chain-guns ready, while those behind prepared their missiles and motars. Hundreds of FLBs circled overhead, preparing to attack.

Toastburner, standing in front, watched as his troops readied. He was about to order the advance, when TD unleashed an amazing magic attack, followed by Dragonsbane clearing the field.

Toastburner sighed. "I never get to have any fun."

Toastburner looked over at the two, intending to give them a piece of his mind, when he saw a Navy Blue rider, weapons upraised, over TD, with Dragonsbane looking shocked about something.

Which was awfully disquiting, has Toastburner had never seen Dragonsbane shocked about anything. The rider had it's back to Toastburner.

Big mistake. Toastburner thought.

With a jet boost, Toastburner leapt over to them, Death's sycthe upraised. He didn't know how tough these riders were, but he doubted it could take the blow Toastburner was about to lay on it. Toastburner prepared to swing as he neared the ground and the rider.

((OOC: Yes, I know it's Jada, but my character doesn't. I figured a little more drama couldn't hurt. :p ))

Druid saw TB leap at Jada.

"Don't kill him!" He shouted "If we can subdue him perhaps there is yet a way to save him, or at the very least preserve his soul for ressurrection......"

Jadarendir 10-18-2004 10:41 AM

"I tried it already," Jada cried. "I cannot be ressurected. I'm alive... but I'm not. I'm an undead now. If you were to ressurect me, it would be the same as killing me."

The rider swung its mace at TD, and shot energy arrows at DB. The Calvinballers dodged, but dared not attack, afraid to harm Jada.

"Do it, you bastards!" he screamed. "End it now! I'm already dead!"

Toastburner B 10-18-2004 11:02 AM

Toastburner heard Druid shout, "Don't kill him!"

Why the heck not?, Toastburner thought to himself.

Toastburner was close now. Why the heck isn't anyone fighting this guy! Toastburner thought to himself.

"Do it, you bastards!" he screamed. "End it now! I'm already dead!" The rider screamed. The voice was familiar, but Toastburner couldn't place it, and it came across somewhat scrambled with the air rushing past Toastburner's audio receptors.

It attacked Dragonsbane and TD. Still, they didn't defend themselves, only dodged.

Toastburner was almost on top of the rider. It hadn't noticed him yet. Toastburner prepared himself to strike.

"Eat it, turkey!" Toastburner said as he swung.

While the reaper was still in motion, the rider looked at Toastburner.

Jada?! Toastburner thought to himself. But it was too late, he had already swung.

The reaper whistled as it sliced through the air.

Terex4 10-18-2004 12:02 PM

Druid looked on as TB swung at Jadarendir. He hoped Jada survived. If he was undead then perhaps Druid's own powers over the undead could overpower BobII's. If he was powerful enough, Druid could possibly give Jada free will......
