All right, that's cool. The thought had just struck me kind of out of the blue. I wasn't really planning on it anytime soon, even if I chose to...don't worry about the whole wild shape thing, that was me thinking while tired...

Nah, you can change into animals...just don't make it ridiculous.

I just read this over again. Does that mean that Gug can go all firey? Last I remember without checking, I'm the only Fire user.

I believe I said "advanced". Common animals would be easier to turn into than an extraplanar being of fire.

My Lead Airbag 10-20-2004 05:32 PM

I thought you meant just like making fire then manipulating it to form around the body giving impression of a new form.

And how is taking on totally new organs and physiology any easier than giving your body and turning it into fire?

Which is precisely why I am personally against the idea.

Dragonsbane 10-21-2004 09:39 AM

two reasons...

1. the PCs could probably kill most of those animals on their own

2. Fire is not naturally capable of thought, animals are.

Besides, I trust Cloud's RPing ability...and common sense...enough to know that he won't abuse this ability. Of course, I get VERY put out when my trust is betrayed...so do try and use this wisely.

*sigh* Maybe I should have just PMed this to you. It was just a random thought, I was wondering if it was feasible in this setting. I didn't really have any intention to use this, though I may much later in the RP. It'd be a slow progression.

Dragonsbane 10-21-2004 12:52 PM

Perhaps you should have, but at least this way you get to hear the comments, suggestions, and criticisms of more than one person.

Cloud Strife 10-21-2004 01:17 PM

Hmm, point well taken, DB.
