And that leaves us puny surviving heroes stranded back at an elven settlement full of snobbish elven people. Just great.

Anyway, I can take over Obsolete's character, and if you guys want to take control of the other characters, feel free to. Other than, wholesale destruction it is. And I know just who to give that responsibility to. Arhra, if you would do the honors? :D

Arhra 11-27-2004 11:07 PM

Hmm, that gives me an idea.

Question the first: Do demon tend to explode when killed?
Question the second: You do mean do something with the demons don't you?

Kildare 11-28-2004 09:08 AM

Answer 1: No, unless you cast I nice Implosion spell on him. :D
Answer 2: No, I meant at our "missing" compatriots. :D

Druidal 11-28-2004 04:47 PM

can i join?

i would be Jakol Varena(Kol) The Revivalist.

a revivalist is a good necromancer/theist/paladin

Kildare 11-28-2004 08:40 PM

Of course, you may join. As long as you are active and a good rper, any new members are welcome to join.

Put up a good bio and you're set to come in.

PhoenixFlame 11-28-2004 09:05 PM

Still here, just waiting for someone else to post.

Arhra 11-29-2004 08:36 AM

I'll probably be making the post in the next day or so. It takes time to think of a good idea. Especially one that has to somehow end with the destruction/evasion of the demons, a suitably vague method for removing Wind and a way to make everyone join back together.

And by do something with the demons, I meant have them do something involving wholesale destruction. I wasn't sure if you wanted me controlling them or not.

Kildare 11-29-2004 11:38 PM

I've actually thought alot of how to progress in the storyline, so I might as well just fill you in with what I have planned for this RP. I'll put it in an outline format.

Part 1, Archeron - The party leaves for the elven town of Archeron, only to find the Armaggedon's Blade(or the Sword of Judgement as I would actually prefer to call it) trying to pull the party of to another direction, presumably one of the Celestial Judgements.

Part 2, Siege of Darkness - Party decides to leave following the pull(after much argument and discussion), but only to be blocked when a small army of undead besieges the town of Archeron, and is forced to defend the town until everyone has evacuated.

Part 3, Search for the (Celestial Judgement name) - Defense of Archeron successful, and the party quickly leaves towards their intended target(with a contigent of undead on their heels). The party then reaches their destination successfully, which turns out to be the lair of an ancient and legendary dragon. The party will have to decide whether to acquire the Celestial Judgement by force or by stealth/deception.

Part 4 Search for the Celestial Judgements - The party successfully acquires the Celestial Judgement, only to be pulled once again to another direction by the artifact. All in all, the story progresses until all artifacts have been acquired.

Part 5, Cataclysm - Showdown. The party rushes off to face the Fifth Horseman before he is able to open a portal large and strong enough for the entire demon army to enter. However, before the party is able to duel with the demonlord, a cataclysmic event happens. The portal somehow goes haywire and everyone in the vicinity will be thrown into a planar portal towards the world of D&D(presumably the Prime Material). I have actually planned what happens after this, but I'll let you know after we deal with these parts first. We'll be given another quest when we reach the Prime Material Plane.

Arhra 11-30-2004 07:47 AM

The post is done. I'm feeling a little drained now.

Uh, what exactly do you mean by world of D&D? Judging by some of the stuff you've said before and your use of "Prime Material Plane" you're refering to Planescape (with Sigil and the planes).

Oh, and just in case you've been sitting down in a cave with your eyes closed and fingers in your ears going, "la la la la la," and thus haven't noticed, Nezurahl has his own agenda.

Kildare 11-30-2004 11:48 AM

Correction. It should be "Forgotten Realms" instead of "D&D". And yes, I am refering to Planescape actually, but not just that. For the record, Sigil is not on the Prime Material Plane. It's sort of like a interconnecting junction to all the other planes.

Well, when I said the Prime Material Plane, we'll probably land up in the Sword Coast or the Northlands. And adding to that, we'll mix our party with those of the heroes of the Forgotten Realms.

Arhra 11-30-2004 08:50 PM

Hmm, sure it might not get a bit too fan-ficcy? It does seem a little jarring to me.

Oh, and I know about the Great Wheel. I just said Sigil in case you weren't familiar with the campaign setting's name.

Kildare 12-01-2004 01:26 AM

Jarring? LOL. I just thought it was a great idea after all. I always wanted to mix my characters with those of the Forgotten Realms.

Arhra 12-03-2004 07:25 AM

The reason I made a distinction between back tracking and continuing is that to continue Aeris and Shuren would have to cross a mountain and a fair expanse of tundra. Also, the original plan was to meet at the elven town of Tirranda. Of course, you could always say that Archeron is the name the humans give the town. Mmmm, slip-up covering. I almost thought it was called Acheron the first time I saw it before I read it properly.

Kildare 12-03-2004 12:48 PM

Oops, did I call it Tirranda? :P

Sorry, i kinda forgot what name it was.

Fine then, the elven name for that town is Tirranda, while the humans in the region called it Archeron. :D

Arhra 12-06-2004 06:22 AM

We seem to be having an activity problem again.

Bailey 12-06-2004 06:49 AM

well, who's turn is it?

i was under the impression that it was phoenix's turn

PhoenixFlame 12-06-2004 03:17 PM

My turn? How so? *looks at RP*

Kildiare, Arhra, Kildiare, Me, Arhra, Fub (telling us Obsolete isn't here).

I'd say it's your turn Newb.

Bailey 12-06-2004 03:19 PM

oh, in that ccase as soon as i get back from practice i will post

Kildare 12-06-2004 10:44 PM

lol....

*random spamming*

:D

Kildare 12-13-2004 12:00 AM

It's your turn again Newb.

Arhra 12-17-2004 12:03 AM

This is why you don't adhere strictly to a turn based system in something like this.

Bailey 12-17-2004 12:16 PM

well, he problem seems to be people don't realize when it is their turn

a solution would be posting the turn order here, by character, to deal with the problems with someone having multiple characters.

then, after your turn, you would check the list and pm the next person

if they take more than 2 days or so, the next person on the list takes over for them during their post.

speaking of which, I am leaving monday, to get back january could someone take over my character if my turn comes up between then?

Kildare 12-18-2004 02:01 PM

*sigh*

I think I'd better suggest that all of us enjoy our holiday and resume the RP on the New Year. I'm sure all of us are quite busy with our stuff anyway.....

So what say you?

As long as you guys promise to return on January, I'm fine with this.

Arhra 12-21-2004 06:07 AM

Looking to the future a little, we might want to consider how the Celestial Judgements are found. We don't want it to get boring and repetitive with, "Oh, you've found ____. Now we must wade through hordes of enemies to find _____."

Oh, and I strongly suggest that we don't go through with the Forgotten Realms thingy. I don't think it'll work. I have a plan that might prove very interesting.

Kildare 12-21-2004 01:55 PM

Oh well, suggest away. We'll make our final decisions later. And as for the Celestial Judgements, I'd suggest that the next one be found in a dragon's lair(as earlier suggested). The others can more or less be made "harder to get", like already been recovered by an enemy, or having to have to get it away from "potential" allies who are unwilling to part with it. The means of getting the weapons does not necessarily require force, if you take my meaning. :)

Arhra 01-05-2005 08:19 AM

By my decree I officially raise this RP from the dead. Let it live once more!

...I hope.

I was the last person to post so someone else should do the post in the actual RP thread. We should start a new discussion thread too.

Kildare 01-06-2005 06:47 AM

Yay!

Newb just posted, so let's continue.

Does anyone know where Pheonix is?

Bailey 01-06-2005 07:01 AM

has anyone pmmed her?

i'm doing so now

Arhra 01-06-2005 07:30 AM

Yes, I have. I PM'ed Obsolete too.

Bailey 01-11-2005 06:17 PM

okay, just to clear things up, i am not healing them in the traditional sense.

the best way i can think of to describe it is that i am giving them each an hour of my sleep.

this is normally used by six people on one other, so that that one person can use the Skill for longer, which drains energy from the caster rather than using mp or "spells per day"

Kildare 01-12-2005 03:34 AM

BTW, I've recieved word that Rhiya will be joining us back soon, but she will not be making an appearance YET. Also, she might join in by sending us a little bit of "trouble" or so - most likely in the form of some diabolical demon. :/

Bailey 03-02-2005 06:47 AM

*twiddles thumbs*

do do do do do

*starts whistling*

so... anyone up for continuing?
