Anyone for a game of triple triad? (ff8)

GLtriad

With this program you can play Triple triad (from Final Fantasy 8) against players online. Host decides the rules.

Check it out and let me know if you're interested.

It requires you to have at least the first disc of FF8, PSX version.

I prefer the Tetra Master included with Final Fantasy XI

Ew... er, I mean... to each his own....

But seriously, tetra master? Bleh.

I thought Tetra Master was Final Fantasy IX. God, I hate that card game. Triple Triad is a lot easier, and I'd like to play but I don't happen to have that disk on my person. I could go and get it, but...there's sort of an ocean in the way.

How did you ever play FF8 to begin with?

Lost in Time 10-21-2004 02:58 PM

I always liked Tetra Master better then Triple Traid for some reason. BUt I want to play this anyway. But I'm an idoit and it won't let me play, I put in the FF8 Disc 1 in my computer and load the Triple Traid applacation. But it says "The application has failed to start because MFC71.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." I have re-installed it twice and STILL won't work. Help.:(

That's what happened on mine, too.

hmmm... Give me a while to look into it... it could be the updated program, cuase I have an old version that works fine.

I'm on TDY for the military. Very early next year I'll be back across the ocean where I belong. By the way, I did have a very good deck of cards ("they're easy enough to earn again.") but my FFVIII data is way too new for me to have gotten any good cards, so all I've got're Level 1 cards for now.

I liked triple triad better 'cause you could at least strategise without worrying that some oddball fucking reaction would get your entire world shat upon. In triple triad the biggest of your worries was a same/plus reaction.
