Kingdom hearts? o.O

Ok then.... My question is, if no one could defeat Sephiroth before and then all the sudden some kid kills him with a freaking key... what the heck is going on there? i mean... really... Has he stubbed his toe? Or has Sephiroth like tryed to actually fight a battle without steriods? Someone inform me , cause this is totally confusing me.

Krylo 10-21-2004 09:11 PM

Think of the key blade as excalibur in key-form.

IHateMakingNames 10-21-2004 09:13 PM

That, and it's not the exact same Sephiroth (As it wasn't the same Cloud, Yuffie, Squall, or Aeris (Especially her, since she was dead)).

CheshireThief 10-21-2004 09:14 PM

It happens by sheer power of Plot Device.

Nique 10-21-2004 11:57 PM

Within the scope of Kingdom hearts, Sure. I mean, Sora was the only one who could wield the keyblade, even though he is a little chump.

That said, I PWN3D Seiphiroth when I was below level 79.

Gah. Sephiroth. What a cheap little bastard. Anyways, after about an hour into the game, I totally stopped thinking about how a kid with a stupid oversized key along with two of the dumbest (as in not smart) Disney characters were kicking people's asses. So when Sephiroth came around, I never really thought about it.

yeah if you have to wonder how Goofy kicks the shit out of people with a SHIELD, I don't think you need to worry about Sephiroth being defeated.

Besides, you have to be well over level 60 to do it. That's quite a feat.

Hey, I remember this game! Well, the bits that my mind didn't erase to save what little was left of my sanity...
Oh, and I think anybody (freaky-bishounon-stereotype-cool-dude-n00b-loved-uB3r-boss or no) would probably be pwned by a giant key. I mean, that thing looks *heavy* and all those nobs and stuff sticking out of it are probably sharp around the edges and stuff... So yeah, that's why. It's fucking heavy.

CHICAGO¤lollie 10-22-2004 05:46 AM

Point. No all-powerful evil guy that's bloody annoying to beat could stand getting hit by a giant key. It's like attacking with violence, except it's attacking with annoying instead of violence.

And y`know, it's annoying.

chryos_the_forsaken 10-22-2004 06:22 AM

I believe there is a poitn we are all missing here. Sephriroth and Aeris are both dead, therefore, they are clones, not the real thing, not uber badass sephiroth man.

Dark Black 10-22-2004 06:38 AM

Uh, does any of the game make sense? I quit on Alladin world, so I don't know why FF characters were in Disney land in the first place (or care), but timelines (or reality, or sanity, etc) probably don't hold much weight in this game.
Why exactly would they be clones, anyway? Are they the rejects from Disney's vast clone banks (y'know, the ones where they are trying to grow a body for 'ole Walt's head)?
*imagines Walt Disney's head on Sephiroth's body* Not exactly plausible is it?
*imagines Walt Disney's head on Aeris' body* =o

CHICAGO¤lollie 10-22-2004 06:39 AM

Dude, that Uber Badass Sephiroth was taken out by one freakin` limit break. And we all know that Sephiroth killed Aeris in the lamest way.

Certainly says something in the end.
Either "klonez r teh 5up3rioah!!@!1211*@%", or "Dude, if Sora killed Sephiroth... Then how weak is this freakin` universe?!"

I likes teh spoiler color tag.

EDIT: Walt Disney on Aeris...
Calender Girl, or FREAKAH?!

Headline news, definately.

Yes, but nobody elses eyes nor sanity does...

Deal with it. If you're gonna post spoilers, you're gonna use the color tag, or you're gonna get your ass kicked out for ruining things for other users.

Don't take a thread off topic to whine about it.

Demon Of Darkness 10-22-2004 09:46 PM

OK! i found it out, appearently in Kingdom hearts, this is before Sephiroth was demonically possesed and he was weaker, therefor able to be defeated by a kid with a key. I still think its not exactly the smartest thing ever but its disney so every kid/dog/mouse/weird-bear-thingys all are awesomely powerfull or can bend space and time so that they can make us laugh. Thank you disney for corrupting our childrens minds

My Lead Airbag 10-22-2004 09:50 PM

That and the fact that Sora didn't technically beat him...that Sephy (if it is a clone or not the real Sepiroth) went on to have a really coo lookin fight with KH Cloud.

AndyBloodredMage 10-22-2004 10:02 PM

MLF that is definitely something to be put in the spoiler tags. (Woulda pm-ed but cannot due to probationatory status)

As for a dude with a key pwning sephy, think how many times you had to save and reload to finally win. 90% of the time Sephy can do his super move then finish you off, no sweat. You could've lost an infinite amount of times, but that doesn't matter, because you only had to win once. It's like being a bandersnatch and saving right before a battle with cloud. Eventually the bandersnatch could win, it'll just take awhile.

My Lead Airbag 10-22-2004 10:09 PM

It was only in the Japanese special version (I dled it off of Kazaa).
