random avatar?
 

i want to randomize my avatar, but i don't know how! anybody know how who can help me out?

I would suggest you...no, no I can't. Well, here's my suggestion anyway.
1. Find a bunch of avatars you like
2. Number them, such as I am numbering this list.
3. Roll dice to decide on your avatar, however often you want to.
4. Change avatar to this randomly selected avatar manually.

If you are looking for an automated, randomly selected avatar, I don't know what to tell you. But maybe if you study Java for a while, or get someone well versed in any form of programming to write one.

Ackk. My brain just had a light-bulb-y thing happen.

On the section that let's you select the avatar, maybe if you set it to show a pic from a website, and you could get your randomizer to take your list of avatars and select one, then place it in a variable file, which is the one you linked your image to. I don't know if that'd work, but if it does, good for you. If it doesn't, I'm sure someone else'll come up with something. My brain-meats are tired right now.

It's impossible, unless you want to manually change it every few minutes or something. Also note that providing a link to your avatar doesn't mean that it will go to that link all the time. I believe that the forum just copies it from that location and pastes it into the www.nuklearforums.com domain, using the magic of PHP. So, its umpossible.

Edit: Just tested out the "link to image" option. It behaves exactly as I thought it would. I feel validated.

Or you could sort of follow CT's lead and let Shiney give you a new avatar every once in awhile.

I'm glad I said random name and not random name and avatar! It's only by my avatar that I'll be recognized now!

Or if you want a random avatar, have a bunch of people make you one, and change them daily.

You could use a program (no idea never tried) and take a bunch of avatars you like and make them into a Gif file.

Use some kind of editing program or photoshop or something if it allows.

Make it so it'll change the avatar after X amount of seconds.

Then for randomality, make X = say 120 seconds. IE it'll change to a different avatar every 2 minutes. IF you have enough, it could probaly not get back to original one till like 20 minutes later (only 10 avatars!)

A bunch of people on the forum have this kind of "Switching" avatar where it'll change one picture to the next. Just ask how they did it but try to lengthen the interval basicaly,

I believe SAAM got JADguy to blend his together, so if you ask him nicely, he might do it for you. (Ask SAAM first, JAD might not have done it at all)
