FF1 Ressurection Discussion

My random musings...

1) black mage obviously has the best Shift Key ever designed by capital-hating demons.

2) Where the hell are we?

3) A Giant?

4) I think the Gravelings from Dead Like Me aren't bad persay, they just have a crappy job.

5) Every person who barely crosses our path will end up mortally wounded, healed, then killed as he runs away.

In regards to #5, I had written a post about Cagon being nice to the running away bandit, but then Outbounder posted first and turned him into stone for no rason besides the fact that he is evil.

Outbounder 10-23-2004 02:09 PM

He's not evil, he was just testing his spell. Maybe call him....indifferent? It's only temporary anyway.

And for #2: somewhere near Corneria?

IHateMakingNames 10-23-2004 02:10 PM

How do you not consider testing a spell on a bandit, who has already been stabbed and scared shitless, that turns him into stone evil? At least, it's mean.

Outbounder 10-23-2004 02:11 PM

Well, yeah, it's mean. I expected DB to respond to me, but he didn't, and that's when I was going to explain it was temporary.

My Lead Airbag 10-23-2004 02:12 PM

I'd think you would test on things that can't object, like plants or something.

Also, I think black mage is taking the RP name way too seriously...and wasn't it decided that this was a normal RP, cuz I've never been in an RP where your level matters (in fact, I don't even have a level for Job).

Outbounder 10-23-2004 02:13 PM

Well, the level thing was just to keep people from putting in overly powered characters, which would make it suck and boring. I think it "level 3" experience was the cap. So I went through a FF1 spell list and gave myself only up to level 3 spells, but not all of them.

And he needed to test on something that he would use it on in an actual battle. Who cares about a bandit? It's not like he used it on the dragoon or white mage.

And Black Mage, don't you think you're trying to advance things a bit fast?

Dragonsbane 10-23-2004 03:09 PM

Yeah...we don't have to try out for the light warriors job, funny as it would be to see Faladar and Cagon smite King Steve for his flagrant abuses of power.

black mage, use your shift key. It's the big one underneath Enter. If you can't find that, there happens to be another conveniently-located one right beneath your Caps Lock key.

My Lead Airbag 10-23-2004 07:39 PM

Ok, if I'm reading this RP right...

4/5 people (4 of you, plus Job whos still watching) are standing around talking about going to Corneria, which is apparently close or within walking distance.

1 (or 2) people are in Corneria.

1 just got some kooky symbol from his mentor in some place.

I dunno if CT is in Corneria or just some random town.

Did I miss anything/anyone?

CheshireThief 10-23-2004 07:42 PM

I'm in Corneria. I stated it kind of mildly in my post. I was "daydreaming near the White Magic Academy in Corneria..."

Otherwise, yup! You got everyone. Jechir will get down off the roof of the gatehouse if something interesting starts happening.
