Need Cash? Sell your soul people, not like you'll need it...

http://www.wewantyoursoul.com/index.php

Man I don't want to be posts random websites guy but I stumbled across this and between that Christian Gun site and this I am official afraid of the internet now.

That has to be a joke site right?

Please some tell me this isn't real...

But on a different note what would you sell your soul for?

Astral Harmony 10-26-2004 05:05 AM

I'd be more interested in that site if it allowed us to purchase souls.

On a more serious note, I'd probably consider selling my soul to live a long, happy life with the sexiest, funniest, most intelligent anime chick I could ever know and love. And being nice and horny couldn't hurt, either.

Hey, my soul may not be worth jack shit, but if someone wants it, they're gonna pay up the wazoo to get it!

I'd sell my soul to be able to live happily ever after with my ex... *sniff*

However, odds are that within a couple of weeks, there'll be a little battered package containing my soul, with an attached note, "Take it back! TAKE IT BAAAACK!"

Sell my soul...

I wouldn't sell it. No, I don't know what it is, and I certainly don't need it.

But I'm a pack-rat. I keep everything I get.

A customer writes: "Thankyou so very much. When I was told about this site i assumed it was some kind of bizarre internet stunt or sick joke.

WWYS® has been formed by a consortium of international companies - including leading financial and genetic research institutions

You need never remember your previous soulful existence, and look forward to a "life" of money and security.

Under Company info:

As far as I know, there is no article 14 of the constitution and even if there were you'd have to specify what section.

Etc etc.
Basically, its a website pointing out how big and greedy corporations have become, with a slightly conservative twist against genetic studies and also a jab at people's obsession with money forgetting that life can and often is about more.

I knew someone in middle school who bought souls from people who needed lunch money.

Astral Harmony 10-26-2004 01:12 PM

Meh. I still like money. It gets me Arby's, Pizza Hut, and video games.

Myst 10-26-2004 08:32 PM

I had people in middle school try to sell me their souls. It got really annoying after a while, so finally I give them my 'death stare' (don't ask, long story, and I didn't name it) and say calmly, "Why would I buy what I already own?" They stopped trying to sell me souls.
