Jak 3: Why don't you people tell me these things?

I'm probably going to wait and get this in December, since November will find me busy with GTA: SA, Half-Life 2, Halo 2, MEtal Gear Solid 3, and also (possibly) Ratchet and Clank 3.

Yeah so far this looks like an awesome game. When I reserved mine, they gave me a demo disk fo it. This is a big improvement from Jak 2. As you saw from the screens, the graphics are amazing. They also added some new weapons, vehicles, and a new Light eco which helps with regaining health. I cant wait to pick my copy up.

Ive never played any of these games. Are they any good? Are they worth my money?

How did you not know? I thought it was november 21st? Guess it will be over looked now.

Swordmaster: Are you into platformers? If so I'd HIGHLY recommend the Jak series. The first title is a bit simple and short, but worth the $20 price tag it now has. The second one becomes much more serious, has an awesome storyline, and has a semi-GTA-esque free-form style to it. The 3rd one should be much the same way, though I've not yet played it.

Now I'm really confused... Amazon originally stated that it'd be out on the 9th. I just checked Best Buy & its says it'll be out on the 11th. Klco says it won't be out until the 21st.

As for me not knowing, I just basically assumed that a game like Jak 2 would take an entire year until we saw a sequel. At the very least. Plus, I don't really read gaming mags at all.

So information like this tends to take a while before it trickles back too me.

As for a game like Jak 2 taking an entire year for a sequel... erm, well... it has been an entire year. Jak 2 came out around the exact same time last year.

It came out on the 9th at some stores and the 11th at others. I got mine on Tuesday and was quite impressed. It is amazing to see how the whole trilogy comes into play. Jak 3 is challenging but not to the point where it is impossible to get through. Some of the new weapons that I have seen are sweet. I dont want to go into to many details so I dont spoil it for everyone else. Overall, an excellent game as we all were expecting.

well, i don't know if you got it yet, but it is definitely out now as i got mine on the 12th!!

and for a platform game, this is really the cream of the crop and the original jak set the bar for games to follow. it is to platform as GTA is to free form. I highly recommend this series...especially this last one.

Graphics are top notch and better than the previous. The Ragdoll physiscs allow for better and more character movement control, the wasteland is huge, you can play dexter, and the list goes on really.
