Good Pot-Luck item?

Hiya. Looking for something good that I can bring into work, that's edible & will stay, but isn't pasta. Any good suggestions?

How about pudding?
It might be on the desert side but why not?

Meatballs! I always do meatballs... <3

Since I can't cook at work, and have nothing to keep them warm all day, so Meatballs aren't much of an option. I make great brownies, but I'm trying to cut sugar out of my diet, plus I know there's already going to be other deserts.

Any other suggestions?

Take something using fish. Perhaps some smoked salmon? Or a can of tuna?

Try making some potato salad or deviled eggs. Those are always great pot-luck staples, relatively easy to make, and should keep.

Potato salad sounds like a great sugestion. Another important potluck item you may want to fill in: The obligatory casserole.

or you could do a roasted veggie dish, like cut up some red onions (in wedges) different colored squash, button mushrooms, carrots, all bite sized, marinate in italian dressing for about 30 minutes and bake covered with tin foil until the carrots start to get soft (maybe 30-40minutes). I made it thanksgiving before last and my inlaws devoured it. :x and if they have a microwave there you can warm it up before serving.

Some sort of casserole. I'll try to get my mom's recipe for lasagna or Kielbasa casserole. Don't worry, they're easy as hell to make, despite their names. And they rock the hizzouse.

But just anything that is a casserole or casserole type dish will work.
