Lunar Eclipse

I hope there is not already a thread for this. I searched, but did not find anything.

I noticed this little blurb when I logged on today. I think it's pretty neat. I always have good view of the moon from my apartment, so this should be pretty good.

Eh, lunar eclipses are a dime a dozen. If a full solar eclipse comes anywhere near here, *then* I'll flip out like a chibi.

I just came inside from watching it. ^^ It was really cool watching it, ^^ It was cold out though.

I didn't want to go outside, so I saw it from my bathroom window. It looks so surreal..but I saw it for a couple seconds and when it wasn't fully covered. How often is a lunar eclipse?

I was bored so I watched it from the begining and it was very boring actually

Didn't turn "very" red and the cloud cover didn't help either.

Presently it's not there anymore so I might watch it more... could just be the clouds blocking it though.

Usually there's a couple every year, and they're visible to anyone for which it's night.

This year is a total lunar eclipse. There won't be another like it until summer 2007, I think. I have a map on eclipses. I enjoy them. I just came in from watching. It's at it's peak.

I couldn't even see it, :( stupid clouds!

It was crystal clear here. I even took some pictures of it, which I would gladly attach to this post, save for the fact that the attachment manager really doesn't like me. At all.

On an on topic note, the eclipse was totally sweet!

I'd like to see some pictures, try uploading to Obsydion, it's free image hosting and they dump the files every month, but it'll serve the purpose of this thread.
