Did they really cancle SC Ghost?
 

I must know! Please, someone tell me (with proof to back it up, cause blizzard's site has nothing past May 2004).

Where did you hear that they did? Cause I've heard NOTHING like this, personally.

Update from just a couple months ago.

I heard that the game is being revamped to be less of a stealth action game and more of a third person shooter. Which sucks, IMO. I personally prefer stealth over straight forward tactics.

Its news that's been off and on.

Officially, the game creators haven't, they have only 'paused production' of it. But as they have not given any new news on it is oh......2 years. I think its safe to assume its been pretty well dead for a while.

Sorry, I can't remember where it was I saw this. Probably Game Informer, but I flip through a lot of gaming mags at the store without buying them, so I get a lot of bits and pieces about different titles, but nothing concrete.

Given that they showed a demo at E3 earlier this year, I doubt the canned the project.

You forget blizzard is infamous for delaying games for ludicrous amounts of time. Sure, they kick ass and rarely ever have bugs, but come on. I doubt SC:Ghost really needs a delay like this.

Oh, by no means is it dead. I've heard reports that it is 1) Still being 'worked on' and 2) Has been given to another company for the finishing of development.

But still, I'm sure its been put on hold for a LOOONG time over the past 2 years. They might not have even started working on it again yet....
