Armored Core series

If you've played any of the Armored Core Title tell me witch on and what kind of AC you play heavy, light, middle wight and wepons and so on.

:rmage: AP would also be nice

I play middle wights with solid ammo and AP around 8000 to 9000

i played AC2 alot, but i've lost track of the series unfortunately. for the missions i would play with either a light or medium weight model, with the high capacity machine gun and the large rockets. for arena play, i used a heavy weight 4-leg model with the plasma cannon arms, a gatling gun and large rockets.

I tend to go with light weight brawlers. High speed to stay in someone's face, high weapon recycle rate to deal heat damage.

I used to be into AC, but I got frustrated with the control scheme and eventually gave up on it. There's a game that could really benefit from the Steel Battalion control module.

I prefer a Middle weight hi speed model with a multi warhead (out doors) or 6-lock (in doors) missle launchers and a high capacity machine gun. With that I can take out any foe in the arena, and perform most missions.

light weight, with insane speed and preferably some sort of sniper rifle. The stealth acc. that hides you from the radar helps too. People get so pissed off when they play against me ;)

Usually I avoid spider legs and treads, but always go for fast legs with a sniper cannon, a payload of non-lockon missiles, and I NEVER get the sheild. Fun game...

can someone tell me why we have two of these topics?

Deathosaurus Wrecks 11-05-2004 03:35 PM

a fun varaint to make was a lightweight model with the flamethrower and an ECM rocket. keeping 'em overheated and without a lockon was always as fun as it was challenging.
