roommate antics
Room mates have the potential to be the most annoying person you know, or the coolest person you know.
The other day, my roommate "borrowed" a packet each of hot chocolate and top ramen. He then made chocolate noodle soup and chicken broth. When I confronted him about it, he asked if I wanted them back. Obviously, I said no. He then said that in that case, he didn't owe me anything. As if all that wasn't bad enough, he later threw it out without touching it! When I asked him why, he asked me why I cared when it wasn't mine. Your roommate is an assclown. Get something with a lock on it.

"You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to shiney again."
darn, I wanted to give him a boost |
Go give reputation to a whole lot of people and then you can give to me again.

That's horrible about your ramen and cocoa, Newb. Is it necessary for you to have a roommate? I used to have them when I was in school, but now--forget it. I don't even let friends "stay over" if they don't have scheduled day/time of departure. But I'm mean like that.

I'm not in my room much, but I cannot go to sleep since my other 2 roomates play movies until 3 in the morning. Which is very bad considering I only have early classes....

figure out what your roommate likes to eat, and then never buy those things. remember that turnabout is fair play, for every bit of food he takes, take some of his. if he doesnt have food, starve him out and dont go shopping.

At least you don't have a roomate that for some reason, decided to sleep next to you without any clothes on without telling you.
Talk about a wake-up call. |
actualy, i'd like to revoke my previous comment, and try to be serious. being passive-agressive with roommates doesn't really help living conditions. if this really is a problem, confront them about it and tell them to stop. its better, in my opinion, to have open hostility than to not know where you and your roommate stand.
about the food, well i personaly wouldn't mind. for the past five years i've openly shared food with my roomies, because i often find myself needing to mooch off them as much as they mooch off me. its also pretty cheap if you and your roomie buy groceries and eat meals together. P.S. Flare: that sounds hott. although im sure its the kind of hottness that could sever my spine in several places. |
