Antoninus smacks wen upside the head. "Ixnay on the 'idalnay illingkay'"
Wen turned on Anton and glared dangerously. "I just saved your life not five minutes ago. Touch me again and next time it may just be your lungs."
He then sighed deeply and started along the path once more. "Besides, we have a job to do, and so long as he doesn't get in the way, I don't care what that foolish zealot does," Wen said, loud enough to be heard by everyone, and voicing what most of them were already thinking. "It's not as though a random bandit would have any information worth knowing." |
Lunas beheaded the second, then glared at the group. "Fine. You want interrogation?"
He spun and lopped two fingers off the last demon and said, "Talk." |
Zaus put a finger on Lunas' armor. Using his demonic side, Zaus sent electricity from his body into the metal armor. He didn't put in enough to kill the idiotic religious zealot, but enough to hurt and stun him.
"Next time you pointlessly kill demons, I will kill you. Also, that demon is unconcious you moron, like the one you just killed." |
Aylia shuddered at the Zealots actions, "Can we not torture them anymore?" She asked, "They don't seem to be in league with Nadil, they're just like anyone else, trying to make a living, doing what they do," She said, relating their 'profession' to her own, "Even if some people don't agree with their line of work. These demons have surrendered, we don't need to take lives for no reason." She had seen many killing of demons in her life, but she would rather not kill a sentinent being just to kill them, even killing them for bounty was better than that.
"That said, does anyone else have any idea of what else to do?"
"Go?" Glark offered with a shrug. He grabbed the remaining bandit while the zealot was stunned and tossed the demon off to the side in a patch of grass, where he'd probably wake up in pain, but still alive later on.
"we could go find food and build shelter"
"I couldn't have put it better myself." Nate began walking back down the path they were on, then stopped. "This is the way we were going, right?"
"Bind them and move on."
(OOC: sorry I've been a bad RP leader ^^;; I just got my liscence so I haven't been around the computer as much lately. ^^ heheh)
The group agreed to travel on, after convincing the Zealot not to kill the other demon. Continuing on, until it got dark, the group continued to move swiftly. After dark, the group, no doubt after arguing more, found some food and set up camp, getting rest for the day tomorrow. "It should not even be half-a-day's walk until we reach Charos," Aylia said, sitting around their small fire they had built. (OOC: make any small talk you may want to for the rest of the posts for this chapter, I will begin the next chapter before long (before tomorrow for sure) ) |
"We need to be cautious, I thought that was clear. We're heading to kill a powerful demon, not an easy feet. I don't think we should go advertising.
Marc scoffed. "I don't mind if we 'advertise' that we're coming. It's not like I have to outrun an entire army of demons. I just have to outrun the rest of you." Marc moved away from the fire, sitting crosslegged just outside of the ring of illumination, watching and listening. Whatever kind of contempt he had outwardly towards his comrades was mostly just a front. He knew that he couldn't finish this mission without the rest of them, and deep down inside, he'd trust any of them with his life. Except Aylia. Why was she even allowed on this mission? Marc was obviously the better thief.
"Well, just consider that if you leave us all behind, you may very well be running into a demon ambush. And this time, you won't have us to protect you. To be frank, you'll probably die. And not heroically, like the bards like to sing, but ingloriously, like this millipede I just stepped on."
Artemis lifted his armored boot to reveal a sticky, gooey mass not unlike mashes liquorice. "Stay with us. We're all in this together, anyway." |
Tyril sat slightly away from the fire, watching the rest of the group. looks like I better keep an eye on things, these people will kill each other if given half a chance. Why does no one understand the value of diplomacy?
He plays with the hilt of his sword, keeping trying his best to stay out of the infighting. |
"True." Glark added after Artemis finished. He cracked his knuckles and leaned back, staring at the sky.
"I'd just not like to have to fight through every foe Nadil will throw at us if we can avoid it."
