Either she meant Godmod, or Godmode, as in make her invincible, unlimited everything, etc etc. Which, when you think about it, is godmodding anyway.

I know what godmode is, but in this context it confuses me. Do you think she means "please don't get my character killed"?

She can always bring her character in later. That way, it definitely doesn't get killed. Who said that RPGs always started with the Player Characters all there?

Blame the Marine Corps, not me for being gone.

Anyway, I did say that not all Materias will be around, due to the fact that they're way over-powered.

Yeah, for example, I was thinking that absolutely none of the Master materias would be allowed, no Knights of the Round, no Ultima Materia, I'd say no Enemy skill materia, due to the fact that some of them are indeed broken, not to mention having to keep track of which skills you have and haven't learned yet, no Heal materia, no Quadra magic, none of the 'W' materias...

If I can think of others, I'll put 'em up, too. But, again, just suggestions. It's up to FC which ones are allowed and which ones aren't.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and no Mime Materia, either.

EDIT 2: Okay, decided to make this easier, and make a table of it:

No Master materia (ie, Master Magic, Master Summon, and Master Command), Quadra magic or Mega All materia.
