Cloud, Tifa, Caitsith, Red XIII, and Cid were all close combat warriors. Barret and Yuffie were long range warriors. Aeris was the true mage of them all. Add in the materia system and anyone can be anything. Ooooo, I got a good one!

(Tifa changes class to summoner and a small horn appears on her forehead.)

Sicko, I had her be a summoner cause I didn't want to depend on Aeris cause I knew she would die, so I used her the least and made Tifa my summoner.

[edit] admittedly, I used Tifa primarily as my Black Mage. Cloud fulfilled the meatshield requirement, and we already had plenty of other melee characters, so I decided to make her into my main spellcaster.
