I'm not sure about you guys, but I enjoyed it. The first episode started off really slow, but after the break it really picked up, and it got rather amusing. I'm definately going to watch the next episode.

What're your opinions?

I thought it was pretty good, but it seems to me like a lot of the humor was lost in translation. The obvious gags were quite funny though. Alas, I think I'd prefer to watch this anime subbed, so I don't think I'll be watching it frequently on Adult Swim.

Too be honest I didn't like it. It didn't really have much plot, but it wasn't funny enough to make up for it. I could say more but I dont wanna get flammed.

It was ok but unless the next episode is much better I wont be staying up that late, more do to school though then the show.

There are two dubs of this show, actually. One that is more true to the original script, and one that has a lot of the jokes Americanized. [AS] decided to use the dub that was truer to the original script, so a lot of people in the states won't get a lot of the Japanese pop-culture references.

So yeah...I didn't like it. Maybe I need to see more Anime or like...live in Japan. For me the one saving grace of the episode was: BELGIAN WAFFLES!!! That had me cracking up. And I wish I knew why...

I was originally going to start a thread called "Super Waste-of-my-Time" about the show. I was waiting for my laundry to be done the other night so I figured I'd see what they were showing on Adult Swim. I switched on as the show began and, since I had been waiting a while to see what it was all about, I sat and watched. I don't know, I just didn't get any humor, or plot, out of it at all. I mean not even a slight grin. The Belgian waffle thing just got me thinking "what?". It had the appearance of a show made by 9-year-olds for toddlers. The "president" would get tips out of nowhere, the robot was just plain annoying, and Milk Chan lost her "cuteness" about three minutes in. And did anyone notice her frequent mood swings?

Someone please gouge out my eyes with a rusty spork!! That's what I was saying after watching only 4 minutes of this crappy show.

ok yesturdays episode was watchable and even fun. However wasn't good enough to stay up that long though. So I most likely wont stay up that long next week

FYI they call her Milk Chan because in Japan Chan is a term of respect like sir or madamn

i saw last nights episode up until the pres nuked himself what the heck was up with the people on the beach looking so so normal and who voted for that guy he nuked himself for gods sake
