Why are there Haiku's?
is it because people are
just too damn lazy?

Haikus are 5-7-5, right? I haven't written one since I think 3rd grade...

OOH, I love haiku's. Here's a set of em I wrote when I was really bored.
(my favorite of them)
the perfect crystal
is no more valuable
than the flawed

moons luminous light
washing clean the sleeping earth
the cycle repeats

watching the world change
days melting into themselves
as my life flees me

(the following were written in debate class when I was really bored, due to the topic being for policy debate, instead of LD, my form)

I hate the U.N
it's charter makes my eyes bleed
evil pointless words

girls across the room
giggling and passing notes
while I watch from here

restless air growing
as we fidget in our chairs
tired of this talk

(randomness)

do you know the man
he sells muffins on the street
muffin man haiku

everyone looks at me
because I typed a haiku
to test the printer

almost out of room
using all of the blue lines
last one on this page

Haikus are there 'cause
People like to do strange things
with words and phrases.

Icythaco is
gathering materials
for a big project

Well, myself for one
doesn't know what project
He is working on

Ooh, succulent plum
Glistening with ripe moisture
Pluck me, pluck me now!

Some things that seem like
I will never understand
Dante is scary

thaco is short for
to hit armor class zero
how is that icy?

(Unless of course icythaco is in regards to something else, if so I'm wondering what)

Icy THAC0 is
A sub-zero to-hit score
Striking is assured
