All the magic in this world is either clerical or demonic. My guy is a cleric to both the tedious gods of the elenes(jehovah more or less) and the younger one romanic (a slacker version of thor)

Your better bet would be to use the elder gods. Think cthulluesque dieties, well in terms of personality.

fine, argue "in character". but if you two (yes, im including you IHMN) don't find some way to settle your differences i'll kill you off. i'm new to this so i can make that kind of "mistake". we'll be starting soon so make sure you have the map handy (i gave the link a few pages ago) so you'll know where we're going and how we'll get there. as soon as i get a final "ok" we'll begin. we'll be joining up in (or around, however you think is best for your char) Chyrellos. i don't care how you get there just do so we can all meet and get going.


oh, before i forget:
keep in mind IHMN that we'll be killing off Azash and Da'shan, so if you align yourself with one of them and we destroy them, you won't be able to cast magic. for the rest of you, magic in this world is used by asking the younger gods to intercede on your behalf. there's about 1,000 so it shouldn't be a problem. *note to those who have read the books* Aphreal can be your goddess, but do not include her in the story as Edding's already did that.

There isn't some other god besides the two that are going to die that could be used for non healing magic?

oh my magic isn't used stritly for healing. You could worship a troll god. The troll god of fire was entertaining. especially how he would set people on fire with magical fire so they would burn eternally and never be consumed.

there are about 1,000 other gods (how many times have i repeated that?) and you can pick any one of them. some are good, some are bad (not pure evil though), some are foolish, etc. pick one and keep it in your head. dont worry about a name, its taboo to say your god's name among unbelievers. i'd lock this thread if i knew how just so we can get the thing going.
