I didn't know french liked anime in the first place.

Actually, I remember seeing an anime clip that was in french. Go figure.

weird, probably wasn't made by the french and was just dubbed with french words.

French anime is like the movie Triplets of Belville. that's a weird movie!

Judging from the fact that a lot of forum members are from places like Finland, Germany, South Africa, Australia and such, I'd say it's quite far spread. As for anime in France, or Europe in general, of course it's well known... even though a lot of people say "anime" and mean things like Dragon Ball Z, which is technically true, but kind of like saying that Hawaii is a place where you need not wear a coat. That just as an aside remark. Point is, anime (and other movies as well) generally gets dubbed in the respective language in Europe... well, at least in Germany and, I'd imagine, France.

I'm from the netherlands, and we get anime subbed here...
