Halo 2 = a little piece of heaven
 

You read it right. The title says it all.

To all of you that own an Xbox, go and buy Halo 2. It is god...in a box...on a cd. Or just at least a small fraction of heaven...

Ehem...

As I was saying...Yes, you should pick up Halo 2 if you haven't already.

And for those of you without a PS2 and no Xbox...hath shame...hath shame.

Oh well. Us non XBoxers will live just fine, Snake Eater comes out next week.

But onto the Halo topic...a bunch of kids yesteday at school, brought in a color TV, an Xbox, and Halo 2 which they had just purchased, and were playing like there was no tomorrow. Geeeeks.

Oh, my god....this game has so much cinematic value it is INSANE! The levels are alot more varied, and the Marine AI is soooo much smarter

I swear, the story somehow reminds me of Starcraft. The Arbiter = the Executer, and Master Chief is looking a lot like Raynor...

I still like the game, and me and my brother are about to return to it right now. I'm still glad that you have varied characters to play with though.

9.0 out of 10. Full review when I beat it.

I played a few levels last night, and I have to say that I am very impressed so far. The Marine AI is a lot better(I like the new commandos too). Though... the Marines aren't too bright when it comes to driving the Chupathingy. But their accuracy has improved and they don't often die as much anymore. I actually found, as I was getting used to the game again, that the AI was getting more kills than I was!

btw... Energy Sword... Best weapon EVAR!

Yes the game is awesomely fun, the fact that you get to be Master Chief (now labeled as John because some hack who wrote a book :mad: ) and the Arbiter (which is awesome because I like the covenant alot more) and the energy sword is probably my favorite weapon too. The fact that it runs out is stupid though, I like the ability for the Arbiter to cloak but it doesn't last long enough. Capture the flag games are so awesome fun not to mention I love killing my friends with the flag, the addition of the new warthogs and the new covenant vehicles is awesome but I'm slightly mad because they said they were adding ALOT more vehicles such as an ATV for the humans and there was supposed to be like 4 different warthogs, Ive seen three, Normal, Missle, Shotgun. The addition of the game where you conquer parts of the map at a time is fun also, putting your logo on your flag is nice too, full review when I beat the game also. But so far my score is also a 9/10

I rate it an 8/10* so far. Having the two main characters meet was extremely predictible, yet the game is extremely addicting. The graphical detail, gameplay and cinematics help to make this one of the best games I've ever played. I'd rank it just above Soul Reaver II on my patented Master of Disguise to Braveheart scale, as this could be considered a movie too. This has to be one of the most well thought out games I've seen in a long time.

the funniest things the marines and covenent say i acidently ran into a coventnt while walking backwards and he said look battle comes to us then he died i dont know how but the 60 pounds of lead probly didnt help

The game is good, i like all the new multiplayer options, but we havent had time to explore them, plus i play with ppl that just like to do slayer over and over again. And agree with grthwllms about his black text, the game could be much longer and everyone would be ok with it, and: I cant wait till halo 3 comes out
