Calvinball XXVII: Enter the Mainframe

Narration: As the calvinball passed through the goal, it flared a strange color, not green, and not purple, but somehow both at once. As the octarine lights dimmed, all could see a smoldering ruin where the goal had been, and in its place, a door. This door had streams of data and energy flowing through it, and anyone with electronics could tell that all that lay on the other side was data, and the calvinball.

IC: Newb used his laptop to relocate himself to beside h4x.m4g3 and said: "so, as the two people here who can manipulate data, would you be interested in teaming up?"

*strange computery bleep sounds* Swordmaster materializes inside of the mainframe and looks around.
"Well this is new" and promptly, with more beeping, a shining blade pixles in, replaceing his right arm. Now, where is that ball?"

Argent, already in the computer, has mastered the art of altering the code, has turned an area into a bar, and is now using coding to mess with the laws of physics. Argent drinks a glass of wine at the bar, shrinks to the size of an ant and walks through the door, bumping his head on the doorway on the way in. He pulls out a five-foot tall pistol from his pocket, and fires it through the window at Newb, although it misses, striking him in the heart, so he pulls the bullet out and tosses it in the grass, then sits back down and orders another glass.

"pfffft. a computer program? that's easy."

MJTP reached into a pocket and removed a disc. he inserted it into a disc-drive that had appeared out of nowhere. suddenly, the entire area started to warp and distort.

"BLEEP BLEEP BLOOP INSTALLING INTERNET EXPLORER V. 1.2 BLEEP BLEEP WARNING WARNING SYSTEM ERROR CAN NOT COMPUTE CAN NOT COMPUTE"


suddenly, viruses and spyware began to fly about!

"viruses. eh?" Newb reached into his pocket and pulled out several megaman.EXE games, summoning all the megamen from them. "All right, troops, We're going after the calvinball"

Swordmaster pulls out a laptop and pulls up a program, "Spybot, search and destroy, activate! Do your thing little buddy." And it promply tuns into a motorcycle with antispyware weaponary up the ying yang. "Still looking..." Then Swordmaster goes around destroying spyware and searching for the calvinball.

Inevitably drawn to the unique Chaos caused by the Calvinabllers, the edges of the digital reality fold and Arhra emerges from them. He is very different in appearance this time, instead of the bladed armour he seems to prefer he is clad in a silvery, form concealing robe. Only his eyes that slowly shift in colour can be seen, his lower face is hidden behind a veil of the same material. It shimmers and then appears to become transparent, rendering Arhra invisible. He sets off, the only thing giving even a hint of his presence is a weak shadow. There isn't even a trace of the aura of Chaos that usually surrounds him. This time, capturing the Calvinball was only a secondary objective. A silent hunter, he moves through the mainframe.

thinking a little, Newb pulls out another cartridge, and gets himself and all the megamen sneakscopes. These goggles would show them the true form of anything, a useful skill with all the viruses flying about.

OOC: yes, i can see invisible people with them, and if i don't one of the megamen will

OOC: Actually, you can't. The invisibility works by bending light (and other stuff) around him. He's virtually undetectable until he strikes. Besides, you had no idea that Arhra's even there. He's not even close to you yet. I suppose you also want to know about the viruses better though.

Arhra dodges silently through one of the data streams, spyware and viruses flying past him. His agility is such to put ninja to shame. Still, if anyone could know of his actions, they would seem strange. They are totally unlike anything he has tried before. But then again, Chaos is inherently unpredictable.

OOC: I am looking for viruses, because someone decided to release them.
If you want to say that Arhra is an undetectable virus, fine.

Newb spotted a virus. On the outside it looked like a horse, but with the goggles, he could see that there were many small warriors ready to strike. "megaman, destroy that trojan horse." oh crud, I should have specified which megaman. Newb quickly dropped to the ground to get out of the way of the megabuster fire, the megamen in front of him dropping to their knees for the same reason. When he looked up, all that was left of the virus was a crater.
