BM in 3D
1 Attachment(s)
Model for a game me and my freinds are making on a free 3d engine (Once we get permission from Bryan) called 3D Bit Theatre, tell me what you think
|
The hat needs to be bigger and cover more of BM's cute lil' head.
|
Yeah. And it seems a bit tall and skinny.
|
And the collar is short and tight. It should come up around his face a bit. The head should be black because it's shaded, for the most part. Which is to say, that between the hat and the collar, not much light should reach it.

What did you use to model that? I've got one I've been working on from 3D Studio Max 5 that I've been meaning to share. A bit of a different take on black mages throughout FF, so I took some creative liberties, but...
Need to work on proportions with yours...the arms need to come up a bit especially, I think, plus what's been mentioned already...but good start anyway. Edit: Had to lower the image quality so I could attach it. |
I thought the hands should have been further back, like Ryu and Ken's Hadoken...
|
The neck-hat-face arrangement definatley needs some changing, it's not nessicarily that his face is pure blackness, it's just not visable and no light can show it. Also, the yellow eyes in the second BM would be a great addition to the first. The arms kinda look weak and odd too. Great start, but some work would make it a lot better.

BM wears a long flowing robe.
|
It's a good start, but needs some improvement. IMO, black mages are usually short. The hat should be bigger with the rim shadowing the face. Maybe make him a little chubbier, make the head a little less round, and giving the cape some more flow and setail to it may help also. Of course, I know nothing of 3D imaging and the such, I just know my black mages.

Better then the first, but I would figure the attack was something more like a Dragon Ball Z KaMaHaMaHa
