Just had an idea for my first rp ever.

The year is 2157. These are dark times. A drastic increase in "bad guy activity" has forced the government to start producing, in secret, genetically altered humans, not to serve in the armed forces, but to protect the people on our streets and in our cities. Their objective is to take the missions that the common police are too ill-equiped to complete.

It is August 27th. The first batch of genomes have been completed and now reside, asleep, in a top secret military research facility somewhere in southern New Mexico. They are about to awaken and find themselves in a darkened underground lab forced into this corrupt world of sin and evil.

This is where you come in...

You are one of the first group of completed super soldiers, still encased in your glass observation unit. If you join this rp, when you awaken, you will find yourself each given unique special abilities or super powers. You choose what powers you have right off the bat. They can be anything.

Plus, I have no set storyline, so the plot goes as you want it to go. Create characters, weapons, places, problems, events. Be as serious or insane as you want.

None of you have any past, though. But, you can create your personalities and appearances.

So, who would be interested in this?

[Edit] Oh yeah, you can be bad guys too. But, I would like a fair amount of good guys first.

Dress: A black short jacket with long sleeves, a small white t-shirt that leaves her lower torso bare, green jeans with cargo pockets and steel plating on the thighs and seats, boots, and fingerless gloves.
Powers: Force Control - Generates and controls waves of force, capable of stopping objects immediately, no matter their size, mass, or speed. If she applies force to the object after stopping it entirely, she will knock the target back. She is totally in control of deciding how far to knock back the target. The force is generated from her hands and feet in the form of spherical force fields, and overuse of the power can leave her exhausted and weak. How much power she uses is determined by the force that she stops, deflects, reflects, and knocks back, how fast it is moving, its mass, and how much force she uses to fling it. She’s very powerful, capable of halting a tank, then “hurling” it several hundred yards into a distance of her choosing.

I think it could be interesting. I'm always a fan of the more free-form RP's. What's your opinion on psychic abominations anyway? Mind control, that sort of thing.

(how can we have a last name without a past? I'm just gonna assume that the last name is our batch name, and everyone who joins in the first batch gets that)

Personality: he's that guy who doesn't talk until he won't shut up. You know exactly what I mean, you know someone like that.
Powers: He can meld things to his body, and then unmeld them, and also control any computer chip in an object currently melded to him. (if he melds to a person, telepathy ensues)

And Arhra, I would assume that so long as you control only random townsfolk who can't actually do much to supersoldiers, rather than saying you can take over other supersoldiers, it's fine, that's just me though, I don't like mind control characters that much.

It takes place soon after the advent of space flight and war in orbit. So, pretty much any tech level you want exists. Except for, you know, time travel and stuff.

And I guess you can use the sign-up format everyone else is using. I'll post my character later when I have more time. Thanks for setting the trend, Armored. :)

Atire: balck military uniform that is starped to him so his clothes dont hang.
Personality: He is intreasted in most things (how and why they are alive is a big one) and enjoys doing new things. He likes to talk sometimes and sometimes he can be very quite.
Powers: Invisibility. Skin and body are very strong and resiliant to elements, designed to resist as much damage as possible without hindering his speed or Invisiblitity ability. His skin would be kinda like chainmail in a way, but very sharp things can still cut him. His bones have been reienforced so bend before they break. Claws are for climbing and fighting.

Is it just me or are we all using various applications of energy and light?
