in one of the first few 100 comics :wmage: said the word claufoy and asked for forgivness because of her language.However in the comic when :bmage: comes out of hell,shes says oh shit as if it was nothing! what the hells up with that?

Continuity is forsaken in place of a gag.

In the first 100 comics, WM had known the LW's personally for, what, a couple hours?
At this point, she's been following them around for, how long have they been wandering around? Anyways, if cleaning up after those four doesn't drive a person to profanity, what will?

That, and hanging around with BB for awhile. That would drive me to curse!! :D

If I had to guess on the underlying pressures driving White Mage to curse for various reasons, it's that she is finding, much to her discontent, that the world is not the way she'd hoped it to be and that everything she had heard about the destined battle of the Light Warriors is just one havoc-filled chaotic event after another. If I were to lay any bets on what Chaos was doing right now, I would say that he is watching all of this on an arcane television and laughing his ass off...

...and I'll bet Sarda gets fan-mail from him too. Something like this...

Thank you again for making this world a safer place for havoc and evil. I just saw my servant, Kary, sent to hell, but she simultaneously shredded a Black Belt and drove a White Mage insane with guilt before besting the Fighter with his childish Sword-Chuck weapons. When WM says "Oh Shit," she is not using the words as if they are her own. The other times (when she apologizes) is when she is using her own words (even if they are mundane to us).

I agree with Pure Imaginary, as shes saying that its like a million voices said that(so she must of heard it with her feelings), so therefore shes stating a fact and not cursing.

Ah, Isn't that always the way?

She swore in one of the early eps too, she called BM Jerk-Ass when he stuffed Onion Kid into the trash

White Mage was just quoting what the millions of voices cried out.
