has any one ever played legend of mana? if so, post and tell me about all your favorite things about that game and any secrets youve found out.

i liked to play as the guy(i dont really know why, hey that rhymes!) anyway, i like to use the 1hand axe or the gloves because with the axe you can equip a shield and it has the ST karma, an extreme damage front area hitter. the gloves are just cool, they have 5 hits per combo. and the ST drunken monkey, which is just a funny name.

haven't played legend of mana. But the Secret of Mana and Secret of Mana 2 are some of the greatest SNES games ever made. arguably the best console RPGs ever made.

Sword of Mana is the remake of the original game, which was brought over here as Final Fantasy Adventure. Oddly, Secret of Mana is the second game in the series, and the third one, Seiken Densetsu 3 (the original Japanese title of the series, I believe it translates as "Legend of the Holy Sword" or something similar) is plainly the third one. So, Legend of Mana is the fourth in the series.

Make sure you get Bud and Lizzy as allies, they're useful to have when you do missions that don't require an ally given to you by the story.

The game is a great game and my favorite thing is the blacksmith.

Man I havent played that game in so long its been forever. Me I used both people I had everything to forge with it was great. I used the battle axe, spear, two handed sword, one handed sword, and everything else I was versitil. I had a Dragon, mummy gorlia, and some other things I cant rember as pets. But If me and anyone else joined up it was all over for what ever we were fighting espicily when it was me and my friend Neil-Dog.

Here's a few possible secrets:

If you have a Final Fantasy VIII save on your memory card when you find that first monster egg in the northwestern part of the city of Domina, then when the egg hatches, you will get a Chocobo instead of just a Rabbite.

Also, I think you can get an awesome sword in you have a Bushido Blade II save or something, but I'm not quite sure. I'd be able to tell you if I had the strategy guide on me.

A Golem is a powerful ally. Master the use of logic blocks (it's sorta like playing Tetris) and get the best materials and you could have an unstoppable unit. You can initiate the Golem tutorial and start up by finding that Professor Bomb or whoever at the building behind your house. Sorry but I just can't remember off the top of my head.

i played the game as well my favourite weapons were the gloves and the flail

the flail was like opening a can of whoopass on single enemies.
i played the game and said "screw the pet" although it did sae me at one point in time against the spider or was it vampire boss and the thing had killed me but my little golem managed to survive ntil i was able o be revived.

Heh. This game was awesome. I played with a pet, for the fun of it, until I got some of the Demihuman pets, which are just plain powerful, particularly the Succubus, since her Synchro effect made all your attacks drain HP. I used a Chocobo til then. If I had money to spare on making uber-gear for Golems, you can bet I would have used one, but I didn't, so I ended up with a sorta good golem that was fun to watch fight. I had a friend who said "Screw the pet" as well, until he tried making uber gear. Caved and made a Mimic with much boosted luck so that he could get drops.

My preferred weapon in my first game was definitely the 2-Handed sword, but I stopped using it, since I already knew how to craft a far-too-good one. Changed to Daggers after that, because they're fun.
