What would you do with eternal life?
Because, Alex Chui claims it is possible. Ignoring the semantics of his impossible theories and absurd immortality rings, if you could get eternal life, would you? And why?
Personally, I figure that even if I had to leave my loved ones behind, I don't think I could pass up the oppurtunity to watch the world develop in whatever crazy direction it is going. Probably from some private island compound in the South Pacific. Still, I don't think any person has the right to compare themselves to Einstein, that's for historians to do. Clicka I am trying to get some immortality rings for free, I reckon I'll use them as fridge magnets. But, if you don't want to click on one of those clickthru links, and to cover my ass on spamming links for my own benefit, here's a link to the site that doesn't do that: http://www.alexchiu.com/ |
Well I dunno, but if I could save time in a bottle I'd pour it out and put booze in it.

I don't think I'd take immortality (not outside of my fantasy powers and such anyway). Our world's going to hell (as far as I'm concerned) and I personally don't see any reason to stick around longer than I have to. Now if things started to improve (or I came across a buttload of money) I'd take it.
|
I'd take eternal life. With that I wouldn't have to worry about a job, because I wouldn't need to eat and couldn't die from exposure, etc. anyway. I wouldn't have to worry about the economy or wars because they couldn't do any lasting damage either... and, really, what's a few years of discomfort to eternity?
Besides, I want to see how and when mankind ends itself. I want to be there watching from the sidelines with a bag of popcorn and some root beer. |

I would eventually grow cold, and have darker thoughts after all my loved ones died. This would be my turning to an eviler me. I'd probably thusly start killing people, as secretly and expertly as possible. Not just any people, important people. People that would get in my way of world domination. Then my empire would be there for when the world ended, or I would run off with the money I made in the process to play games and drink beer for a long time. |
If I had immortality...
Well, I don't know what I'd do. But I do know that I would get bored, and constantly try to kill myself afterwards. |
Of course, by then, everyone who is anyone would know that the easiest way to kill one bound by immortality is to remove the rings from your fingers. Or even just one. Being half dead after 27,000 years would have to count for something.
Right? |

Why would I kill myself, when I could ATTEMPT suicide and have fun? |
With immortality, the mysteries of the universe would be mine... I'm kind of knowledge obsessive. But an infinite amount of time to research and theorise... just, yay.
|
It would be awesome to be immortal. I could conquer the world because noone could kill me.
