IC: The bones began to morph again into more spike-like forms. He knew they couldn't dodge them all. "Die" as the bones were about to crash down another voice was heard as a blast of energy hit him from behind.(that was the trick to beating him, hitting his blind spot.) With his dying breath he spoke. "I will not die in vain, I give my soul to my master." Then as his body died he sent his soul and those he controled to the Spirit King.

Without the necromancer the bones crumbled to Earth. As it fell a group could be seen behind the derbis. Two women one wielding a large bomerang the other in modern clothes weilding arrows, a traditional shinto monk, a young fox demon and a small cat demon, as well as a dog demon holding a large sword. The one with the sword most likely the one that killed Necros. He was the first to speak. "Hey would any of you mind telling us what the hell is going on?"

"I'd tell you, but first I need a na..." GadGad slumped to the floor, taking the nap he hadn't the energy to avoid. His entire body ached from being pummled by Toguro, and the fur on his arms was matted with his blood. However, this wasn't GG's concern, as he was dreaming about doing 1000 push-ups.

Alick let the shield drop, and looked dumbfounded at the ragtag group that had saved their lives. Despite the menacing look the one with the big sword gave them, he couldn't help but laugh.

"You shouldn't do that," Gavan said.

"I can't help it."

"They each hold great power," Ivar stated.

But that just made Alick laugh all the more hard. Finally he regained his composure, and proceded to tell their saviors all that had happened up to this point.

ooc: sorry but i couldn't help but have the feeling that my posts go unresponded to...I'm also guessing these are Inu Yasha characters, hinting Inu Yasha himself, Miroku,Sango,Kogoume, and I can't remember the other person.

IC: Frederick then got back up having gotten the feeling back in his arm looked at the the five warriors. He then in relief told them, "You came just in time. We owe you much for saving our lives." He then took a long breath while wrapping his arm in cloth and gauze he had packed in case this would happen. He flinched a little while putting on the cloth. He then looked back up and them and stood up. He then walked over to the dog demon (assuming its Inu Yasha in my terms not the characters terms) and extended his hand for a shake,"Hello, my name is Frederick Seraia of the town of Galena. I have traveled a long way with my fellow comrades, we have come against many who have stood in our way but triumphed over them. We are in search of the Spirit King, an unknown entity that keeps throwing these monsters at us one by one or even three. Some of them have actually had the powers to control the dead while others have skin like the hardest armor. Now tell me, why have you come here and if it may have some connection to the Spirit King."

The dog demon looked annoyed to say the least but the monk held him back, "Lets hear their story." They all listened as Alick told them what had happened up to that point.

The modern looking girl was first to speak. "See I told you we should have came here. I am Kagome, this is Miroku, Sango, Shippo, Kilala, and the brooding one is Inuyasha." Inuyasha resheathed his sword and stepped up. "Yea well that guy wasn't too tough." "And I am sure the village will be most grateful," replied Miroku. Sango spoke next. "Although this so called Spirit King is a threat I do agree we should rest. These guys took quite a beating."

Toi bounces up to the dog oni, sniffs him, then looks at the little fox. "Hello nephew! I'm Satoi Kitsuko! Who're you?"

Curd let out a road and his rage left him, he fell to his nees and suported himself with his arms. Panting heavely he spoke, "Thank you for your help (weeze), Im sorry for not saying more but I need the sleep", and with that he fell to the ground and slept.

Alick looked at the two members of their group that had fallen asleep. It would seem that there was no waking them, and it would be impossible to move one without the other's help. Looks like we're waiting here for awhile. He then inspected the other group quite closely, and he took some interest in the girl, Kagome. Well, it was not really an interest in her, but more in the weapon that she carried. The bow she carried was much different from the heavy battle bow he wielded. It was longer and more slender.

He walked over to her, and tried to start a conversation. She didn't seem to know much about her weapon, beyond that she pulled the string and it shot arrows. And Alick definitely started feeling a bit uncomfortable at the glares the dog demon threw at him.

Far off on another world the Spirit King sat over the wasteland reeking of death. "Master I know you wanted them to become stronger, but Necros has fallen and Gardener is injured. If I were to turn them waiting would not be an issue." The Spirit King agreed. "Oh but take Angel with you. Just let her do her thing and you will be fine." "Very well sir." They both set off to the village.

Shippo was suprised at her sudden aproach but happily gave an answer. "Oh Hi! I am Shippo." "Shippo dont fall behind." Inuyasha told him as he piled the two sleeping on Kilala. They then all went back to the village where the villagers cheered their arrival and offered them both food and shelter.

As they all ate and settled down to sleep a guy and girl approached the village. The guy was rather tall and slim. He had orange hair and dressed in modern clothing. The girl was much shorter dressed in a modern school girl uniform. The boy was first to speak. "So you sure this is where it will show up." The girl looked towards him. "You know our order. Him and his men will be here. And when they arrive we will destroy them."

Toi bounces slightly, "Well Shippo-kun, you like ta play? These people are mostly serious and boring, cept for Gad over there, but he's sleeping. How bout it?"
She looks over at the other people, "Oh, you guys can play too!"

Fredrick had taken interest in the staff Miroku had held in his hand. He had also taken interest in Inu Yasha's gigantic sword. He then walked over to Miroku and had asked him,"Your a monk which is an interesting thing seeing as monks don't fight and you have a fighting staff, mind to spar my baggy dressed comrade? If so I'll stand ready, if not I will spar with your Dog Oni friend there Inu Yasha, so, can you do any tricks with your staff?" He then paused for a moment to look at Sango then asked,"If you wanna, I'll spar against the both of you."

ooc: I'm not sure if a spar with Inu Yasha himself would be the greatest choice assuming that this is AFTER he learned the Backlash Wave technique and his sword got lighter. So if I knock the sword out of his hands which is highly unlikely, I'll be in a LOT of trouble.

ic: Shippo was happy to play and jumped on Toi. Miroku happily answered. "Actually this is a spiritual staff and in our culture Monks spend a life time fighting demons. As for sparring Inuya-" "I have bigger concerns them..." Inuyasha stopped as he and Miroku stood ready. "Get down!"

Suddenly the walls seemed to explode. A large creature stood before them. Several others were attacking the other homes. Shippo searched frantically but Sango was first to ask. "Where is it, I cant see it." Miroku looked at it. "Then that means these must be a type of lost soul, a soul eater." "Soul eater?" "Yes, I dont know much about them, but they are spirits that eat souls. Only those with high spiritual sences can see or hear them."

Toi tilts her head to the side, "You mean the big whitish thing with the four arms ending in pincers and the white blank face with big teeth and dead staring eyes?" She points, "It's right there."
She sends a large gout of flame at it, "Eat this....teehee, I wish GadGad had heard that, he'd be so proud."

Alick reacted instantly. He swiftly drew one of the talon arrows, and integrated Gavan into it. He picked out a red creature with only two clawed arms. It was serpentlike, but the tail of its elongated body ended in a heavy, mace looking appendage. It's face was as blank as the white one Toi flamed, but instead of large teeth, it had small, needlesharp ones. Alick released his spirit enhanced arrow, and watched it swerve as it raced towards the soul eater as if a string had been attached to the two.

GadGad stirred in his sleep. 1999, 2000! Wow, I'm strong. I think I'll go for a walk. Man, this sky is delicious, would you like some Toguro? Purple sky, black sky, purple sky, black sky, green ocean. I'm underwater now? Weird. Hey! Come back here Tail! Stupid thing, always wants to play backgammon. I can't spell that! How am I supposed to order a backgammon board if I can't spell it? Hey, I rolled a 6! Is that how I'm supposed to play? Look, I can see the gym from this moth. My wallet got away. My tail musta tool it. Come back here you jerk! I'm poor and my library card's in there! GadGad turned in his sleep again, muttering, "Turn down the TV, I'm trying to sleep."

The demons fire, although well executed, was nothing to the creature. Alicks arrow would have struck if not for the hole that they all had in the middle of their chests. Just as they were ready to strike the strange man lept up. Only this time he was dressed in a samurai gi and had a sword about the size of Inuyasha's. He cut the head of one from behind then another, and so foreth. After each was cut they yelled out as the disintegrated. He landed by them. "Aim for their heads. That is their weak spot."

Toi smiles, "Fair enough," and with that runs towards them, leaving a huge trail of duplicates all over the village, each holding a different, 'insulting gesture' towards the demons. At the first one she reached, she leapt at it's face, this one with a small, poutign mouth, though still full of teeth, and released another gout of flame.

Frederick smiled hearing the weak point and whispered,"Let's go." He then lept in great speed towards the soul eaters cutting off the heads one-by-one. He shouted out of the excitement of the battle,"This is too easy, c'mon we need a stronger enemy. Miroku, time to show what that staff can do, and Inu Yasha show me your true might!" He kept cutting at the soul eaters one by one not caring what happened.

Knowing their weakness the warriors quickly destroyed the spirits. The boy that aided them gave a call to his companion. "Rukia, these guys could use the help of your kido." She nodded and healed them all.

But their victory was short lived as another one came to them. Seemingly right from the ground as he clapped. He was well over ten feet tall. He looked far more human then the others and was fully clad in armor with only a single blade to his side.

Rukia stood up. "Its him, the one we were hunting. The commander of the hollows." Behind the hollow was a human of shamanic skills. She was average height with medium blonde hair. She dressed in pure white and from her back were spirit wings.
