Wolfs Rain

anyone fans of Wolfs Rain?

I'm quite a fan of it, myself. It's a good anime, even if it can confuse people. I think there was a thread for this recently, though, but it may have just been about the ending. In any case, it's a very good anime, quite original, from everything that I've seen (which isn't much, unfortunately. ^^; ).

i love it i find it very emotional with good meanings i just don't see how it is somewhat cofusing...the only show i don't really get is ghost in the shell: stand alone complex

Well, to many people, including myself at first, the ending seemed so random that it leaves them confused to no end. If you pay close enough attention to the anime, then you'll get it, but I didn't pay close enough attention at first, so I had to have it explained to me. I get it now, but, as I said, most people don't.

As for you not getting GitS: SAC, have you watched the movie that it was based off of? If not, then you should, it'll more than likely help out a lot. If you have, then I'm not really sure what you find confusing about it.

I was kind of hard on Wolfs Rain in the "best anime thread" but I think it might be just that I can't stand dubs, and thats all I've seen as far as Wolfs Rain.

If someone could explain the storyline to me, it'd probably help.

(note to all: do not take my comment about dubs as a point of argument, its just my personal opinion and is not worth arguing, not to mention it will probably close this thread if you do.)

the series isn't based on the movie they are seperate like the DBZ movies. There isn't much to get, its a cyber-cop show. Pretty much every episode is independent.

Back on subject. I got the ending, I just dont like open ended endings. I need closure, not some "they had many more adventures" or "it begins again" endings. The series was good, I just hated the ending and it ruined it abit for me

Ick. Don't do one word posts, that added nothing to the thread.

RULES, read 'em, follow 'em, love 'em:

Anyway, I love Wolf's rain. I'm watching from the beginning now, they started showing it over agian on adult swim recently... so I'll get to see all of the ones I missed before.

As for the ending, I didn't mind. I don't particularly like such endings, but I live with them. The characters have to live on after the story stops, unless they die of course... and it gives you something to speculate about afterwards (< trying to stay optimistic...)

Oh yeah, I really loved Wolf's Rain.....until I saw the ending. But I should be good at this by now, seeing awesome animes with crappy endings, I mean, the same thing happened in Esaflowne, Berserk, Evangelion... *wipes eyes* Someone tell the damn Japanese producers to get some good endings out there! *runs off to cry in her room*

Oh, and GITSAC isn't just a cyber-cop show! If you haven't seen most of the series (I've seen up to 23) then you really can't judge. Wait until they delve into the Laughing Man case, that'll perk your interest.

Sorry for this post, I know it's pretty random... *wanders away aimlessly*
