Simpson, Futurama or Family Guy?
Or some other less popular "grown up" cartoon? Which is the best? what was your favorite episode?
For my money it does not get better than the "Scorpio" episode of the Simpsons. That was the best of all time, never to be duplicated or equaled. |

Oooo...that's a tough one.
On the one hand, Futurama and Family Guy were really doing nothing more than trying to cash in on The Simpsons fame. On the other hand, The Simpsons series has been more or less beaten into the ground. Hrmmmm...have to think about this one for a while... |
Thanks for reminding me of that 'Scorpio' episode. That show was ten pounds of funny in a five pound bag. Especially the James Bond part. But, I like Family Guy more than the Simpsons. I don't know, it just seemed like it took what the Simpsons did and did it moreso.

I have to give my nod to the Simpsons.
Sure its old and should stop but its still the best. I now at least like the Family guy I used to despise it since it was just a simpsons clone with the volume turned up, but now I've dropped my elitist attitudes and watch it and laugh heartily. The True issue here is where the hell is the TICK cartoon show. That was the best thing ever! |
I loved the Tick cartoon show. Spoon!!!!!!!!!!!!
"On your way out, if you want to kill somebody, it would help me a lot" -Scorpio, yes that episodes was a classic. Also any episode with Side Show Bob is good in my book. |
None of them. South Park rules all.

Well, recent Simpsons episodes haven't been good, but its prime, nothing could be it. The Scorpio episode was classic, but not my favorite. Yet with the hilarity of the episode in my mind, I can't think what which one is my favorite.
I also love Family Guy. That show really brings the funny. |
DAMN!! I'd forgoten about the Tick! Comic book was better, but that cartoon was damn fine entertainment. I don't know if it beats Scorpio though...
And DevilWetHisPants, I'll always be a step ahead of you. |
