1 hour of sleep and still going
 

its mid december, and schools all around are nearing the "Winter *cough*christmas*cough break". for my school, we break for two weeks, then come back for two weeks to finish up our fall semester (we start a month later than everyone else, and we have an extended semester break).

even though there are five weeks left before the end of semester. everything is due right fucking now. and if you're a student like me. you've done none of your work. I had about 15 pages that i should have written for one of my fiction writing classes today. Tomorow, i have to present SEVEN speeches for my public speaking class; SIX of which still need to be written.

I had the idea last night, that i would stay up all night, and get a good deal of my work done. eight hours later, i had written four of my 15 pages. four of them. i have fourty-five minutes to write another two.

so here i am, i've got abut one hour of sleep over the past 24 hours. I have to work tonight (5.30-9) and get up in the morning (11am class). that gives me roughly 12 hours of time to write my 6 speeches in (2 hours for transit) tonight. oh yeah, and maybe get some sleep or something to eat.

I have finals next week. Then I get a month off. I'm happy.

And I tell ya, the very second my winter break starts I'm off to indulge in beer and computer games, and I'm not planning on quitting that before three days have passed...

and my winter break has just started. yipee

I feel the pain. I have three consecutive finals: calculus, chemistry and economics then break...if I survive. Oh ya, and I also have a paper and a meeting due. The meeting is where I go to my Cinema teacher's office, watch 2 clips, and have to talk about them. Hopefully I won't die from overtiredness before I can get my College a$$ off to Florida. *sips fourth double latte and motions to the pile of Red Bull cans next to her*

Yeah, same story. I have 3 programs for computer programming due on Monday for my final exam. Not that I can do any of them anyhow, seeing how I'm 6 chapters behind and have a completely unhelpful book. It doesn't at all describe how I'm supposed to do this stuff! What's more, I TRIED to do the program's frame by the book's example, but instead, I got 15 errors! I'm telling you, SOMEBODY's going to face Hell on Monday, and it isn't me!

I haven't been getting much sleep at all during the past week. With all of my finals coming so colse together I havent been able to get the time to sleep.

Luckally on Wednesday (12/17) that will finally change and I can get a good nights sleep.

well, i finaly got my stuff done, and i got some sleep. my speeches? i only had to present half of them today, of course. so things are starting to return to normal. sort of.

i found it an interesting experiment in personal endurance. I only got two hours of non-consecutive sleep, yesterday (one hour in the early morning, one in the afternoon). and i have to say that i did alright for myself. i was up for just about 40 hours all together. i finaly had to go to bed last night at about 1am, because my vision was getting "slanty" and the coffee was loosing its effect.

my next challenge is to get cought back up in my fiction writing classes. ive got about 60 pages i need to write in the next 5 weeks (30 pages for each class, and about 10 pages per class-week). if you ask me in twenty years: what did i learn in college? ill tell you: The art of bullshitting.

Ok, what sucks more than finals???
I'll tell you. When each of your professor's decide that to make finals easier for you they will make their final projects due RIGHT BEFORE finals. That way finals week will be easy right!?!? RIGHT!!?!?!?!

AUGHHHGHGHGHGHH!!!

So right now I am trying to finish and Artificial Intelligence program and paper, a giant Physics lab report on holography, One helluva network security program, and prepare for theatre final too.

When all this is over, I'm gonna sit down and not move or think for 8 days.
