So, every time I try to submit a thread I get an error message saying that there was a database problem and that the admin has been emailed. Its a big, white screen, with minimal text. It says I can email the admins if I like. "But why? I say. I can write them a message on the forums."

also, it appears that many posts are in fact showing up in the threads, it's just that no other pages will acknowledge(sp) the existence of those posts, so you have to manually check every thread that you vaguely care about.

I'm havingthe same problem. Where is this "global announcement?"

I've tried to search it with the search feature, and it doesn't work. Drat it. Tell us what this Global Announcement is. Or, is it really global? I'll search in google now.

Go to any forum and look on top. Click General, and just view above the stickied posts.

Damn globals are so difficult to see.

Sorry Shiney. It didn't appear for me. Or it did, and I didn't see it. I'm not reknown for my observation skills.... At any rate, do we know why? Or maybe I'm acting like an asshole, with all my questions. In that case, I'm sorry.

You worry too much, Gorefiend. :) Nobody is upset at anyone. We're very reasonable, especially when there are problems.

It might just be because of the db, or sql, or whatever. I'm not bothered! :0
