THE Final Fantasy.
 

Celes finished off the Giant Insent with a finishing blow from her sword, it's head cracking open. She, along with a few others, had been helping clear out Narche of monsters in an attempt to make it habitable again. It seemed like a neverending process, mostly due to the lack of magic avalable, though she's managed to keep much of what she had learned. Deciding to rest a bit after the battle, she foiund a spot that seemed comfterable for a bit and laid down for a quick nap. Some time later, she awoke to find herself....somewhere else. It almost resembled what she had seen through the Esper Gate, but she knew it was no longer there. "Where am I?" She said. looking around.

Rydia's arms swirled and her thumbs interlocked. Lightning surged outward in great volts. It was a dazzling final blow. Leviathan cried out in monstrous fury and finally collapsed, his body damaged horribly by constant assaults of Rydia's lightning magic.

"Very good, Rydia." Queen Asura said, the multiple faces spinning slowly. "I didn't think it would be possible for you to defeat Lord Leviathan in single combat, and yet you amaze me with your diligence once again. It must have been exhausting, though. Please, return to your room."

"Yes, Queen Asura." Rydia said after a few deep breaths. She really was very tired and the bed seemed even more comfortable than it had in the past. Too tired to even pull back the sheets to slip underneath, she simply collapsed into slumber. When she opened her eyes and sat up to take off her shoes, what she beheld was a new place entirely. One she didn't recognize...

on a high plateau, fire lit the sky. Two masked wizards, black magic blazing at their fingertips, faced each other over the shattered ruin of what had once been smooth stone. Grinning, the older and more experienced mage rattled off an incantation, bolts of lightning streaking through the air at his foe.

Once a chubby, wide-eyed boy, now a strong young man. Robes of black and red swirled as Palom countered with his own lightning, using the crackle of electric discharge to hide his whispered spell. FOOM! A gigantice stalagmite of ice shot up from the ground beneath his opponent, impaling him on its razor-sharp tip. there was scattered applause from the other Black Mages present, watching the Lunitarian-trained youngster dispel the stalagmite, then kick his foe's corpse over a cliff.

My initiation...too bad Porom wasn't here to see this. his lips twisted in a wry smile, knowing that his sister would never have agreed to attend this barbaric ceremony...even though White Mages had been hired to bring back whoever died. Still, victory felt very sweet.

Returning to his room at the tavern, Palom the Black Wizard lay down on his bed, yawned, and closed his eyes wearily...that fight had drained him more than it should have. His eyes drifted shut, and his breathing slowed, becoming the even respiration of sleep...then he felt something, his eyes snapping open and a battle spell on his lips.

He frowned, then let out a surprised curse. He was no longer in his room, and he had never before seen this place before..

OOC: uh... i dont really know how FF4 ends.. im at the end of the game soo can someone inform me if theres something special after they beat the bastard controlling Golbez? (if someone dies for example)

OOC: what do I do? Since the movie or whatever sequel hasn't come out? Should I just act like I have an adventure in between?

OOC: I know that Palom and Porom get un-petrified, but I know Golbez isn't the main villain in FFIV. Golbez, Cecil's brother, ends up switching sides to help defeat Zeromus, the "villain controlling Golbez". I don't know exactly what happens after that, I just know that Cecil becoming a Paladin was a huge disappointment to me.

Foamy, what do you think happened after Sephiroth was defeated? Tifa might not be fighting anymore, she might be dating Cloud or something. It's up to you.

FC, what does this new place look like? Additionally, I have a question about Palom.

Palom and Porom spent most of their short appearance in the game as Cecil's support units. Rydia was THE Black Wizardess/Summoner of FFIV. Since both are now in the same setting, does Palom have some new abilities/skills/powers that even things up?

Tifa had just walked in, after a great night on the town with Cloud. "I'm so tired," she said to herself, "I can't believe we did that, it was hilarious!" Tifa went into her room and changed into her robe. "Npw for a nice shower."
Cut to after shower scene! :P
Tifa walks out of the bathroom with her robe on and hair up in a towel. "That was perfect." She comments as she changes into her pajamas. Then she goes to her bad and falls into a calm sleep.

The next morning Tifa wakes up to find herself not in her house and in her fighting clothes. "What the?!"

(OOC) You'll see. And yes, Parom can have some new abilities, within reason.

OOC: DB i know that Golbez isnt the bad guy, i am in the place just before zeomus (just couldent remember his name) (you said Palom got lunarian trained right?)

IC:After defeating Zeomus Cecil and most of the others had went back too Earth, FuSoYa ,Palom and Golbez had stayed behind. When he came back too Baron he went straight too his room and fell asleep.

When he awoke he was not in his room, he wasnt even in Baron anymore.
