We have no conventions in South Carolina. At least none that im aware of. If anyone knows of any, please tell me.

There are two cons near me, Katsucon and Otakon, both are very big and very good.

Katsucon is in Arlington, VA. and of course if you don't know Otakon is in Baltimore, MD

I go to Anime Expo every year and pending financial strain, this year will be no exception. I hope it'll be good again.

I don't think that there are any major cons here in the Pacific Northwest, but if there are, they'd probably be in Seattle or Portland. That's all I can think of.

Ohayocon

I live in Columbus, Ohio. There is a convention here this very weekend, Ohayocon. It is actually a pretty sweet one, unlike the pre-teen convention Sugoicon in Covington, Kentucky which was in november.

Hope this helps you guys out. :) I got these straight out of the events calender in Newtype magazine. It looks like they're spread around just enough for everyone to be able to get to one.

I'm going to Anime Detour this year. It'll be my first time at a convention and I'm still looking for people to go. If anyone here on the boards are interested, drop me a line either through pm, AIM, MSN, or email and we'll try cooking something up.

There's Anime Central or ACen for short. It's in Chicago. I went a couple of years ago and it was totally cool. If i'm in the country, I'd like to go again.
