The punch hit the bandit in the jaw knocking some teeth loose and causing the bandit to spit blood.

Tsubasa leveled her Yari and thrust it at her next nearest enemy.

The Yari burried itself in the chest of the bandit. with the last bit of his strength he seized the weapon wrenching it from Tsubasa's hands. Soon another Bandit with Katana raised high struck Tsubasa in the shoulder biting deeply into her right shoulder. (-2 wound rank)

Zenko like wise felt the bite of katana on his torso but the blow was glancing. One of the burning lodges collapsed. Screams and shouts of bandits could be heard. The flames rose higher silencing them.

Zenko realized that the bandits were beginning to awaken and ready to fight, so he fought with himself to run away. And he succeeds in overpowering his urge to fight, so he runs away.

Tsubasa yelped from the strike and backed away. The bandits were yelling too loudly and the flames howled furiously. There wasn't any way to get a message through to the others. Tsubasa gave yer Yari up for lost and drew her katana, retreating away from the bandits.

only a few gave a half hearted chase while others went about tried to put the flames out.

Matt rode behind up to the shugenja on a beaten horse, holding the reins to three more. "Light the flames and go, the horses are free. From the sounds of things, we need to find the other two and get out of here."

The Bandit archers had strung their bows. but had lost Tsubasa and Zenko in the confusion. That did not deter them from unleashing their arrows into the dark forrest. Several whistled around of the running ronin, but none found their target.

The hay in the stable burst into bright golden flames and quickly spread if the two ronin didn't hurry they risked becoming entrapped in a burning building.

Elsewhere in the camp one of the lodges exploded as I massive form broke out. It's horns glinted in the firelight. It's face wore a sneer.

OOC: Very sorry to everyone, I've been unable to get to a computer, and won't be back after tonight til sunday.
IC: Tenshi nodded, then pointed to the nearest edge of the camp, "Go about a tenth of a mile that way, then start towards the village, there's a small animal trail that will make it easier on the horses."
Tenshi charges into the woods, then stops within the shadows of a tree on the outskirt of the trail, hiding inside it in case any bandits decided to chase them.

Mother Sun arose in the east and from the roof of the mill. Sanjuro watched the forrest. He practiced the kama kata's he was trying to develop. It was then he saw the others exit the forrest. Sanjuro used his kusari-gama to climb down and went to waking the others.
