Spirit King Ch. 3: New Comers

IC: The hollow was first to speak. "I am known as General, my companion is Angel. You see our master has been wasting too much time and effort in an attempt to make you stronger. So I will kill you, devour your souls, and transform you to make you stronger." General then lept into the air and drew his sword. He came down with great force but the boy blocked the sword. Such force came from the blow the ground under his feet gave way. The hollow quickly kicked him into the air and gave a left hook knocking him into near by building.

As the others went to his aid the shaman jumped infront of Alick. She dispelled her spirit and looked at him. She then put on a pair of gloves. "Joan into the gloves!" Her gloves then glowed with the aura. "Your mine bird-boy."

GadGad opened his eyes and sat up in his bed amidst the destruction. As he stretched his arms and legs, he felt his returned health and strength. He ran his fingers along his ribs and felt no breaks. He then turned his focus away from his bed and said, "Hey, did they give us our rew... ard?" He was struck by the destruction around him. "How long was I asleep?" he asked to no one. GG hopped out of bed and surveyed the situation. Everyone seemed to be ok and there was a berry-headed boy with them. He saw General and instantly knew he was bad. After a few moments of staring at the giant, he noticed the girl challenging Alick. Woah, she's asking for trouble. Oh, wait, are those wings? Maybe Alick's the one in trouble. GadGad thought for one more moment, then decided that the General was an easier target. He energized some of his quills, then fired them at the hollow.

The hollow simpley raised its fore-arm and the quills were blocked by the heavy armor. He then looked over at the person who attacked him. "If you are in a rush to die, then allow me to grant your wish." He then attacked Gadgad.

"Wind Scar!" An energy wave rushed to the hollow. First it used its blade to repell some of the blast and blocked the rest with his arm. Due to the fractures caused by the quills the armor shattered and he took minor damage. But the hollow just laughed. Holding the sword with its left hand. General took his right hand and extended his thumb and two fingers. A smoke formed around the injury. When it was gone he was healed and the armor was fixed.

Rukia gasped at what the hollow did. "That was Kido, the soul reapers healing art. That can only mean this hollow was once one of us. This isn't good."

GadGad jumped out of the way of the hollow's attack, but he was relieved anyway when Inuyasha temporarily hurt the monster. Good, he can be hurt. At least, for a little while. GG ran a little further away from General, then lobbed another round.

Man this cant be good. Watching as though he could do nothing he just stood there. He then saw GadGad throw another round of quills at the giant. Remembering what this quest was for he shouted to GadGad,"Come over here I have an idea!"

ooc:just for a question, is this the time after Inu Yasha's sword got lighter or before?

GG wasn't having any luck hurting the General, so he ran over to Frederick. "Good morning Fred. What's your idea?"

Curd woke up at the sound of fighting and got out of bed so fast he had to sit back down. His body was stiff from yesterday but he had strength, he streched his arms and hurried outside to find new enimies and wasnt shure what they could do so decided to go to the others and defened them the best he could until he new what was going on.

Alick looked at the woman for a moment before jumping back. Wasting no time on words, he immediately engaged his oversoul. The familiar surge of power and change in appearance of his weapon occurred much faster than he was used to it before. On an impulse, he tried to attemp a manuever he had been working on for a long time. He split the ghostly hawk into three separate arrows: two which ended in razor sharp talons and the onther in its just as sharp beak. He pulled back, and released all three at the same time. Each seemed to scream across the intervening space, and attacked different vital points.

She smiled and stood her ground. Her head and body pivoted to follow him. As the three arrows came screaming towards her she took her hand and in between her fingers she caught each one. Their oversouls imediately disengaged. She then hurtled towards him and with a small touch disengaged his bows oversoul as well. "Let me tell you abit about spirit control. Every time you integrate a spirit you use alot of mana. I can force out that spirit reguardless of circumstances. No matter how strong you are, engaging your souls only drains your mana." She then finished with a swift kick to the head.

With a swift swing of his blade, General repelled the volley. The soul reaper tried to attack from behind. But the creature's armor moved up protecting its skull. It then reached behind and grabbed him by the leg and flung him down to the ground. The ground under him shattered from the blow as the soul reaper gave a quick cough of blood. Inuyasha took a swing but missed. Kagome and Sango both released a volley. He blocked Sango's attack but he was greatly damaged by Kagome's.

Soon as he healed from Kagome's arrow he looked at them. "I dont have time to waste on weaklings." He faced his palm to them. "Ruler the mask of blood and flesh, all things of the universe fly, that which names all! Truth and temperance slight claw at the dream wall which brooks no sin! Destructive art 33, Sokatsui-pale fire crash!" Immediately all that were with Inuyasha were caught in an explosion. Miroku barely standing up, the others knocked-out. "Incects, nothing more, not worthy to serve my master."

GadGad held up a finger in front of his face. "Hold that thought, Freddy." GG hadn't stopped watching the girl and he saw her disengage Alick's oversoul. At first, he had thought that she was like Reaper, but in a second he realized that she was just taking Alick's ghost out of his bow. I hope that only works on spirits outside of their bodies. GadGad ran across the battlefield,kicking off his shoes to move more quietly. He snuck up behind Angel, made a little wave to Alick, and energized his tail as he swung it crashing down at her head.
