Fellow 8-Bit fans, don't let Brian's holliday excuses fool you!
His latest failure to present us with a comic to satiate our thirst for humour can be easily explained by a well-based theory that I have been developing for years now.
"Brian Clevinger" is nothing but an alias, a secret identity! In fact, the "Brian" that gets invited to speeches and cons is nothing but a paid actor. Can't you see thru the facade? The "Brian" we have seen in public isn't the real creator and author of 8-Bit and NuklearPower!
In fact, the scrawny wild-haired man that reads a bunch of pre-written speeches in public presentations is the has-been TV nightmare Carrot Top, only with some make up and active hollographic suit to make him look slightly less like a geek!
No, with this latest installment of failure to show us a new comic, the identity of the real Brian can finally be proved beyond any glimpse of doubt, and the real reason for why he has been unable to present his required webcomic to the vengeful gods of the internet!
The reason is, that the real Brian is in REHAB!

Don't you see? Isn't it clear for all of you NOW? This man has been writting these comics and "Brian's" book while under the influence of many, many, many hallucinogenic drugs! Everything else has been carefully engineered to hide the truth! You think that the same genius responsible for this comic could have written average posts like "Kurosen's"?
The truth is out! Now we must all raid a rightful crusade to the heart of that madhouse where our malevolent master has been trapped! This probably would've worked a lot better if the article you linked to contained the name "Brian Clevinger" in there, and not "George Carlin".

I remember a while back in the FAQ's (or somewhere) there was the question "Is it just a coincidence that you are called 'Brian Clavinger,' just like the protagonist of Catch-22?" (possible paraphrase) The question may ahve become dangerous when someone started to suspect. But, now, perhaps he will come forward and tell us the truth. A truth I found out about long ago. BRIAN CLEVINGER IS __________!

Or someone in the book. That's what it said in the FAQ, anyways. I've yet to read the book. (it's somewhere between Animal Farm, and Chapterhouse: Dune) it may have been the author, it may have been a janitor. Someone in it was called Brian Clevinger.

So, at least we can all agree that the guy that shows up at cons and public presentations is a decoy.

Catch-22 had a character named Clevinger. He never had a first name to my knowledge. It was always Clevinger. He flew into a cloud and disappeared. If he had a first name, it was definitely not Brian, or maybe Clevinger was his first name. You never know.
I've read the book twice, once before and once after reading 8-bit theater. I would have noticed the name the second time around.
