26XX Sign-Up (Megaman X RP)
 

The world is mostly ruined cities, expect for a few bases and outpost that have not been destroyed yet. Reploids like X, Zero, Axl, and Sigma are gone, as is the Maverick Virus (Because I don't want to deal with that).

Characters will all be Hunters (B level at most) on the Resistance. No X, Zero, or Axl clones. And try to give your characters a general theme with their powers and weapons.

Story for the moment is a new Resistance base is being made, and all the PC Hunters were sent to guard the base while it's being made.

Ok, I'm thinking either

1) Armory - Just lots and lots of guns and lasers and whatnot
2) Quirt (working name) - Whips and cables and bolas type things
3) Jackal - Illusions and stuff
4) Gust - Wind (High gusts, whirlwind grenades, that kinda stuff)

Name: Rio
Appearance: Female design with blonde hair and pink eyes. Armor plating is royal blue in color and is form fitting, but emphasizes Rio's physical strength. A tall girl at 6' 1" who gets along with everyone.
Weapon(s): Megaton Wrench / Standard Issue Handgun
Equipment
Repair and Maintenance Pack (stores excess energy for repair functions and tools for required maintenance)
Retractable Roller Blades (allow quick movement but might be too dangerous to use on steep slopes)
Wall Kick Module (allows Rio to scale walls by kicking off of the wall she needs to climb to get higher. She can kick against the wall as long as she needs to.)
Abilities
Repair - As Rio's Repair and Maintenance Pack stores energy, she can use it to restore the health of herself and her comrades.
Terminal Knowledge - Rio's knowledge of terminals allows her to collect data and maneuver things that the terminal can control.
Background: Rio, as you may have guessed, is a mechanic with extensive knowledge of construction, maintenance, and repair. She didn't start off as a member of the Resistance, and she has only been a member for a relatively short time. She's tough, but without battle experience, she's not much for tactics and the best ways to defeat enemies. However, she's a hard and competent worker when it comes to maintaining the Land Chasers and other various electronics, to include the Reploids in the Resistance themselves.
Extra: Be patient with her in battle. She is a newbie when it comes to combat.
With enough experience, Rio might be able to turn disabled enemies into allies, though they'll be weak from suffering so much damage and won't help much.

For one, I said that I only counted the votes of people whose opinion I actually cared about. Secondly, if you include everyone, it was 4 to 3 (Excluding me).

Ok, people who wanna bitch about the Naruto thing, it's not the end of the world. You can still make your ninja type character. A regular katana becomes a plasma katana, smoke bombs become smoke grenades, yadda yadda.

Name: Armory
Appearance: Bulky, a target is over his left eye. Usually towers over most other robots, a lot of his body surface is made up of panels or holes through which his many weapons can be revealed.
Weapon(s): Numerous lasers and machine guns, plus a few add-on grenade launchers
Equipment: Minor shields on his arms to block small shots, jump jets(?)
Abilities: Uhmm...can convert raw energy into ammo? I really didn't plan beyond lotsa guns.
Background: Armory was made and trained to live in battle. Early on he proved his offensive prowess, and quickly rose in the ranks of the Resistance. Noting his abilities on the field, he was assigned to guard the making of the new base.

Name: Chimera
Appearence: Streamlined and compact. His body is a humanoid adaptation of a lion, with heavy emphasis on the limbs and overall speed. He has two special modules implanted at the base of his neck that allows Chimera to safely exert more than his mechanical limitations. Jets to allow for the energy flow are located in the center of his hands. Claws are imposed over both his hand units. his metallic "skeleton", "skin" and tail are dark shades of gray. His chest plate and arm guards are a vivid yellow with diamond cut amethysts gems embedded in the center. His tail unit is modeled after a cobra. IT comes equipped with various forms of Sensors, and a neural disruptor. It has a limited A.I, however as it stays operational as long as Chimera has ample energy to supply it. the panels that make up his metallic mane are gold plated solar panels. He can downgrade easily to a completely human appearence during any "off" time. He stands at 4'11

Stealth and Recon (it's what he was built for, and he's good at it.)
Bladed weapon proficiency (How else would he weild a Swallow?"

Bio
A third-party reploid, being the first in a series of setting. He was scrapped and deemed a failure due to several design flaws. The first being Chimera's tail, was not supposed to have it's own AI, but to simply be an extension of the core AI. Upon the creation of the other six "correct unit" Chimera was reactivated and used as a training dummy for the other models. The results of the testing ended with Chimera deactivating the other models, and taking one of the beam weapons from them. Magnetized on his right leg is the hilt for a double bladed beam weapon, a swallow, with both defensive and offensice capabilities. He was recurited byt the resistance fairly recently, and for whatever reason, sent to gaurd some new base.

Name: Stone
Description: Like his namesake, he is large, slow and unweildy. Built like a tower, he is semi-tall, 5'10", and thick, resembling a golem. His arms reach to his knees and his hands have long fingers. There are all kinds of small cracks in the armor, but they have armor underneith them, and are meant for storing consealed weapons.
Weapons: Whatever happens to be on hand, plus a plasma rifel, and an energy blade. Most things he is not capable of using in any fassion becides as a club or other blunt object.
Powers: While being slow and having no ability to use long range weapons what so ever, he is more useful as a body guard than anything else. His armor, while not indestructible by any means, is stronger than normal, and his body is made of a stronger material. Unfortunately, this usualy means that anyone with a gun has an advantage in a one on one fight.
Bio: At the begining of the reploid project, Stone was designed as a personal bodyguard to a person of importance, but was not finished in time. His design was not compleated until many years later by a group afiliated with the new resistance. He was only awake for five days when the facility that he was compleated in was attacked. Stone was the only surviver, but his armor was dammaged beyond repair, though still stronger than normal.

If this is all wrong, and I don't doubt that it is, don't hesitate to tell me. I can change anything that is necessary or make a whole new character. I'd rather not though. I like this one, though he may proove dificult to play.

Sixnine, why would a chimera be the model for a stealth reploid? That makes no sense. And if he is stealth, you have to get rid of that supercharge, use more energy then he can despite being a machine thing. Lastly, no downgrading to a humanoid form (Or upgrading to anything).
