Questions for the Mod's.

Sorry I dont know where else to put this and the instant message system hates me. I was just wondering why the British thread was closed by Drooling Iguana? Closing the Bush thread is understandable, but this is a discussion forum isn't that where political threads? Most of the threads here havent been blatant ranting, but some of them have the possibility to turn into just that. I would like to thank the moderators for the job they've done. So far I've only seen 20 or so posts which were complete idiocy which is impressively low for a forum this size. Thanks for your time.

The rest of this thread can be used for other questions anyone else would have for the mods.

Quick answer: Post limit

Threads on this forum are kept to length of about 60 posts. After which, if the discussion is really big, then posters are welcome to remake the thread. It makes forum maintenance easier.

A lizard did it.

Packman 01-01-2005 06:38 PM

Thanks Raerlynn. A newb like me was unaware of that.

Also, DAMN THOSE EVIL LIZARDS! DAMN THEM TO HELL, AND THERE KING GODZILLA TOO!! (was that what you were hoping for?)

The Mighty Penguinhead 01-01-2005 07:07 PM

As someone who would not hesitate to have Godzilla tatooed on their face, I must point out that Godzilla is

a) not a lizard. He doesn't fit into any of conventional animal groupings.

b) King of the Monsters, not king of the lizards.

Packman 01-01-2005 07:19 PM

Ok if Godzilla isnt the king of the Lizards then who is?

Cloud Strife 01-01-2005 07:21 PM

Technically, T-Rex, even though he's a reptile, not a lizard. But I'm getting off the topic of the original discussion, which, if I'm not mistaken, was answered already.

Let's compromise: I move this to General and we stay on topic a bit more. ^^

This Deserves its own thread in Off Topic. Go look for King of the Lizards there.

I'm pretty sure that the Albertasaurus is worse than the T-rex, though hardly anyone knows about the albertasaurus for some reason. Basically it was a T-rex, but bigger and sharper....or maybe I'm just regurgitating half-memories from my grade 1 unit on dinosaurs.
