Lame endings

Ok if any one has XIII then they probably have seen the ending, cause that games a little too easy. Now i dont want to make a spoiler here so i wount say more than [To Be Continued...]
It actually said that! who knows what other games do that or just plain have lame endings?

Well we can't really gripe about pre-SNES games, they didn't really have much to work with. Most likely every console Rainbow Six game, short of the PS2 and etc. I mean...Rainbow Six: Lone Wolf for the PS1...It was a really cool game, until I found out that there were only five levels, and just a little thank-you for playing. Worst twenty bucks I ever blew on a game O_o

Super Mario 64. The ending was a cake. A freaking cake.

Kuja 12-15-2003 11:46 AM

Well, yeah, that one too. I mean, Mario works his butt off like crazy [Or for me, just a day], and saves her AGAIN, only to get something that'll make him even fatter. Would it kill Peach to install some security?

Krylo 12-15-2003 11:48 AM

Or at least put out for the poor guy... or at the VERY least make him some of those foods he mutters about in his sleep if you leave him alone for long enough. "Oh rigatoni..."

Domon 12-15-2003 11:51 AM

But to be continued... when i saw that i wanted to shit my pants right there.

Zelda 64. Zelda sends Link back in time seven years, instead of having red hot sex with him after saving her life from Gannon. I mean, COME ON Zelda! Even the people in LoTR would have done that O_o

INTERESTING NOTE: Adult Link has his ear pierced. When did that happen? Maybe Rarou got bored one day and decided to give him a makeover.

Resident Evil. The only game in that series that didn't have a short, unsatisfying ending was Code Veronica X.

Quest 64, the ending was a picture with scrolling white text on a blue background, you could barely read it.

You know...it might sound odd, but I really disliked the ending of Warcraft III.

Random Elf: "Huzzah! The trap, which was never before mentioned or explained, has worked!"
Other Elf: "Yep!"
Random Elf: "Good thing too. Losing woulda been bad."
Other Elf: "Yep!"
Random Elf: "Well, time for me to wander off and do something else somewhere else."
Other Elf: "Yep!"

Mysterious Man: "I am very mysterious and ominous. The day has been saved, so now I will go elsewhere and be very mysterious and ominous. But first, time to be mysterious. And ominous."

Orc: "What the Hell happened to us?"
Human: "Damned if I know."

Alright, so maybe I switched one or two words around. I seem to recall it more or less being along those lines though.
