How many people here have Halo2 for the XBOX?(Yes, some modded pcs can play it on them, so Pc Halo2 is out)
I reckon its the best game ever especially with the online play! Im waiting to get a cable to connect the XBOX to my Broadband, but when i do watch out XBOX Live Halo2 players, ill kick your ass =P
so who does have it and do u like it or not? post your favourite moment in halo2 aswell if u want my favourite was when i hijacked a banshee after sticking it with a plasma grenade accidently lol :p MC was in hospital for weeks :)

Wrong section and single player halo 2 is the most boring video game I have ever played.

This is about the twentieth topic on Halo 2, so feel free to tell me if I'm being useless.

Single play sucks, multiplay has me hooked.

Now that I've played the game a bit more than my last post on this subject...

It's a decent game, definitely better than the first Halo. A much larger array of bells and whistles add an immeasurable amount of cool-factor, but still, the game has a long way to go to get to 'best game ever'... maybe 'best XBOX FPS' but that's about it. Most of the changes/additions were for the better, but there's still some other things I would have liked to see changed, like respawns (which still drop you WAY too close to enemies at times), the option to toggle powerups (unless I missed something while glancing over the available game options), and how visible you still are with optic camo. I'm still not fond of how the game feels, overall, with the slow movement, the really odd health system (it's there beyond the shields, but where's my indicator!?), and this strange sense of unblalance (though better than Halo 1).
Don't get me wrong, it's still fun to play multiplayer with a large group of people (assuming nobody's an asshole who exploits every aspect of this game), but beyond that, it kinda falls flat for me. I guess the next thing I'd like to see in this series (apart from the few minor things I've mentioned) would be bots. Having bots would make the game much more interesting, enjoyable, and add to the replay value.

Me, being the XBOXless loser that I am, have only played Multiplayer, though I have played that alot. From what my friends and I have done of co-op i think the campaign is just as good as Halo 1 (which I have for PC)


Six hour, 6 player slayer, swords only... wicked fun.

Meh... Halo 2 is fun and all, but since everybody wants to play with the sword, which I personally don't like. And another reason I don't like it is that I suck at the cotrols, on account that I was playing Metroid Prime right before Halo 2, not a good mix on terms of controls.

Halo 2 is fun, for some.

I liked Halo 2 story..nice interludes with the Arbiter levels.. but yeah. I have no Xbox ( DAMN YOU NINTENDO) yet still i can pwn most of my friends at Halo 2. Weird huh. Yeah, it could've been better, but it's good enough. If Halo 3 is like this though, I'll be pretty PO'd.

Can anyone tell me how to get Xbox live working??????

So, yeah, I'm neither pleased nor dissapointed. I never expected it to be the best game ever, and it's not. Co-op is probably the best mode in the game. Single player gets boring really fast, in single TV multiplayer you have to deal with screen watchers and cord-pullers. Multiplayer earns my "Seal of it could be worse" award. It's fun until you play with snipers, sword happy people, people who cheat, and/or people who camp. Overall, I guess it was worth it.
